Forever Affiliate Membership Domain Expired?

Now what?!?!?! I bought the Forever Affiliate course this week and have been going through it. This morning I try to log on and get taken to a page that has a bunch of generic links on it and at the bottom it says THIS DOMAIN NAME HAS EXPIRED. Most people on this forum said Andrew Hansen is a stand up guy. So now what? Do any of you know how to get in touch with him or his support staff to get this remedied? The only support I saw available was through that website and....you can't get to it. I'm only adding this link so you can see what I mean.

Yep ... it certainly has expired. I don't know him or his products. Obviously, you just bought this. If this was a WSO, go to the WSO and check to see if there is a refund policy and ask for one in the WSO thread. I would also report the WSO to a mod (use the little red triangle on the WSO listing at the bottom of the listing on the left hand side). If no refund, do a Paypal dispute.

Thanks for the response. It wasn't through a wso, just on the recommendation of quite a few warrior forum members. The course was looking really good. It'd be great if he would just renew it. If not, do you have any idea on how long I have to get a refund? I'd like to think it was just an oversight on his part and that he is the stand up guy that everybody said he is. I'd like to hold out as long as possible and give him the chance.

Not for me it isn't. Just went and got the same domain expired screen and refreshed it.

Never mind. It was showing the log-in page for me when I checked earlier, but it's now showing the expired page.

I've read a fair amount of your posts and signed up for your newsletter. You appear to have A LOT of experience in the IM industry. Other than what's already been mentioned here, do you have any ideas on how to get this remedied? Thanks!

First, I would check the email receipt I got for a working contact point. Phone, web, or email, whichever might be available. If that didn't work, I'd go to foreveraffiliatecoaching.com and see if the same log-in credentials worked there.

If that didn't work, I'd go to nichemarketingoncrack.com and sign up for the affiliate program, to find out if there was a way to contact Andrew through that channel.

If none of those worked, I'd consider that the seller did not want contact, given the domains are registered through proxies, and go straight to the payment processor for a refund.

You could try contacting him through his forum account, but he hasn't posted in 2 years, or logged in for 4 months. That's not the most likely channel...

Pardon my ignorance but what's active now? The domain still isn't working.
      Thanks.

It's 45 or 60 days ... can't remember which, but something as major as selling a product and then letting the domain expire is pretty unusual. I wouldn't let too much time pass.

Still shows expired, not a good sign.
I would try and get my money back ASAP...

He might have so many domains that he just forgot about this one or launched the product so long ago that he doesn't maintain it anymore thinking no one else was going to buy but definately no excuse if there is a buy button he should have his domains fresh and running.

I'd give him some time to answer - like 1/2-1 week. He could have missed it due to the holiday or got run over in a Walmart on Black Friday and is in critical condition. Try to contact him again and if, in a week, you don't get a response or the site doesn't come back up, do a PP dispute.

That's one of the BIG ISSUES. I don't have any contact info other than that member log-in page. I did send an email via the info on Paypal. Maybe that goes to someone in his organization???

It does when you try to contact me, but I've had plenty of people not respond to the email they use for Paypal, so if you can't contact him, you can't and just need to attempt to get your money back. I'd still wait this week out to make sure he didn't forget it over the holidays. I know I get many emails from Namecheap when I have a domain expiring, so it would be pretty hard for me not to know that one was expiring, but who knows, he could be in the hospital or something.

That's what I thought too. It would be difficult to NOT know when it's about to expire with all the emails they send. He may not handle that kind of stuff, but surely someone on his team does. Thanks for the input.

I have send a message marked critical to the Forever Affiliate help desk letting them know about the domain name problem (I get access to the support desk though the coaching site). I'll keep in touch and let you know if I get a reply.

    Cheers

Thanks Paul. I did send emails to everything I could find related to him and found the support desk that he uses for FA and submitted a ticket. The support people finally responded and said they would give him the message. We'll see what happens.

    Sorry you guys had trouble.

FA launched back in February or March of 2013 -- I went through the course and promoted it as an affiliate. In my opinion, it's a great course and Andrew is an awesome guy. I've known him for a long time and consider him a personal friend.

That said -- I agree that any kind of delivery problem for an online course is not cool -- especially a silly one like an expired domain. I am sure that Andrew would agree.

For those of you that don't know, Andrew uses his online income (affiliate sites, courses, etc) to fund his adventures doing humanitarian relief work. Some times he is out of pocket for months at a time (I have not spoken with him for some time).

My guess is that Andrew is in some location where internet access is limited.

So, it is still no excuse -- but I hope a little context helps.

And I can tell you this....

the course is well worth the cost IMHO

    AND

I believe that Andrew is good for the stated refund terms if you are not satisfied. But I think you will love the course.

Hope that helps and that you enjoy the course.

    Regards,
    Mark

It looks like its back up again. That's a relief to me too, as I am a member. Hopefully it will stay that way.
