Hello...
Ben Here, I was Trying to make money online for last 2 year and failed continuously. After I registered with WarriorForum I determined to give Article Marketing a try.So here are the step by step process I followed and It made me $85.90 within a week.

1.Pick a product from Health and Fitness niche.
2.Researched Keywords using Adwords Keywoord tool.
3.Hired a article writer and gave my keywords to write 20 articles.
4.Get a Domain name related to the product and redirect it to the Merchant page.
5.Submit first batch of 10 articles to EzineArticles.com
Wait & See till them get approved.

Just 2 days after the articles approved I looked into my Clickbank Stats.Awesome!!! There are 4 sales totalling $ 85.90.My EZA Click through rate was 14%.

My EZA Screenshot:

And I must thank the fellows who helped me by submitting great info in their threads:
TimG|Steven|Jeramy Kelsall

BUT,
The Problem is;
In Next 3 weeks I had No sales.May be the articles only brings traffic until they are in the recent articles category.Traffic and Click throughs completely dead after 1st week.I social bookmarked all articles using Social Bot and no change happened.

I wonder what is happened and I want your advice to keep the sales rolling in, and what should I do next to improve my earnings? Make a blog/Squeeze page/Landing page?...Your Ideas Welcome..

Thanks;
Ben

Are you linking to the product sales page directly through the EZA articles, or do you have a website that promotes the product?

If you are directly linking through EZA, start a backlink campaign directly to the best performing articles. You can write more articles, or comment on blogs and forums, or use a resource like Angela's backlink package. Do enough of that and the articles will be better positioned in the search engines and should receive some search engine traffic. That will solve the problem of articles disappearing when they drop off the recent articles pages.

If you are linking to your own site, a review site for the CB product perhaps, then do all of the above but link to your site instead (you could also do both, that is link to your EZA articles and your site.)

In addition to continuously churning out articles, do some more backlinking to your existing articles.

Social bookmarking is a good start but it's not enough to get your articles ranked unless there is very little competition.

Spend some time building backlinks to your articles and if you can get them ranked in the search engines you will have a steady stream of consistent traffic.

Isn't it better to just spin the successful articles (manually, of course) put them on a blog or something and get those to rank? EZA no doubt sucks out some of your clicks through their own ads. On your site you can get a much better CTR.

By the time you registered a domain name and outsourced articles, along with your time you put into it all, probably not a lot of profit.

Consider doing CPA or your own product. Overall you will come out much better.

I guess getting more articles written for you.

How are the articles ranking in google? Try to get them on page 1 at least, if not you probably wont get any traffic from them whatsoever...
You can get them there with proper keyword research and good backlinking campaign.

    1. Tweak your articles based on the current keyword trend. Remember the keywords you used was based on last week of April, things changed fast.
    2. Add more articles and get more backlinks to your site.
    3. Expand your article submission to other article directories like goarticles, isnare, articlecity, articlebase, amazine...
    4. Never stop promoting your product, article marketing is only one method, there are still many other ways of promoting your site/product.

I've just taken up Angela's offer (WSO) and will also get Paul's WSO today. It's 30 high PR backlinks from Angela. For this month all backlinking sites are PR6 and above with 70% of them PR7 and above.

To be honest, i hate building backlinks to, but it's something you should do! Even if you just spend 15 minutes a day doing it. I followed Angela's instructions (PDF file) and did 10 yesterday in about 45 minutes. I added a further 10 this morning and as i'm well practised now it only took 20 minutes.

I added these backlinks to an Ezine Article that got picked up by a few websites last week. The article was just pointing to a blog promoting a Clickbank product. That article received 315 views in the first 2 days, with 126 clickthroughs. That resulted in 76 hops and 5 sales of the clickbank product.

So by using Angela's backlink method and from the feedback i have seen i should be climbing the Big G rankings and if i can get on page 1 with that article in the next few weeks, the keyword receives 90,500 searches a month. So if i can make sales from the initial burst of traffic, imagine what will happen once on page one of Google!

Angela's backlink WSO is free for the first month and then $5 a month from then on.

So the moral of the story - no matter how much you hate building backlinks, it will definitely help!

Also you have now had success, so just keep writing more articles. You know that you have hungry readers and customers in that niche now, so keep giving them quality stuff to read...and lot's of it!

      Well done!

      Cheers

    Hi Ben,

Congrats bud, i too see a surge in my adsense clicks when my articles stay on EZA homepage, then i submit a spinned version and using automatic article submitter blast it to over 50 directories and will see the same effect i had with EZA for the rest of the days.

One question - Can i do a 301 redirect from my domain to merchants's site with affiliate link? is that how you did it ?

If that is the case, then i second ripsnorta2 that is a great tip if you are directly linking. But if a product is so popular EZA will ultimately find that its affiliate, but then hey even merchants could do like that, and we have a point to stand with now

So, the takeaway is write 20 articles, promote a product in a popular niche, direct link with a 301 redirect, and watch the sales and stats rolling in for the first week. Use the stats and find the top performing articles, spin them make it 100% unique and then blast it to top 50 directories also do the backlinking with angela's/Pj's/Steve's Backlinking package and watch the sales and stats rolling in again

    Best,
    Esh

Look's like you got a temporary boost in search engines that is now short lived, unfortunately the perils of article marketing are that, this is exactly what happens all of the time.

You need to learn a way to make your articles stick in the SERP's.

Google relies on fresh content and after time it's possible that your articles have saturated their indexes and are seen as spam. Just reinvest some of your profits in new articles and start over.

All of the above. Tweak the articles and submit them to different sites, link those articles to your EZA article for backlinks and bookmark.

Problems have been documented with CB and they seem completely uninterested in solving them. I'd ditch them. I was gonna use them myself but enough is enough.

There have been a lot of threads in the past with people seeing good consistent numbers from Click Bank and then suddenly the conversions go in the toilet.

Try opening a new CB account and switching your links to the new account, several people have said this brought their conversions back up to what they were seeing before.

Personally, I stopped promoting CB products a few months ago.

      Hello,

First you're in a great niche! But, all you have to do is build backlinks. I also use Paul's and Angela's links. Definitely stay away from clickbank! They are horrible in my opinion.

All I do right now is find low to medium competition keywords with Micro Niche Finder. Then I write a short 300-350 word article with the article linking directly to the relevant e-bay page and build backlinks.

It's very easy to do and I'm starting to see results after a few weeks...

First of all Congratulations on making sales!

It would be wise to look beyond only using ClickBank and to look for residual and 2 tier affiliate programs that pay you monthly. And to make sure you build a list for each niche over time.

One shot sales are nice but very short lived.

Also it's a good idea to use long tail keywords as much as possible along with some LSI within your articles if you are not already doing so. This way you can have more potential to hit some home runs like this example below.

Ezinearticles.com Stats from one single article: Ipods Article: 39,142 views 29 votes 5,389 clicks

I just copied and pasted some inbox results with dates from one of my residual affiliate programs not to brag but to inspire YOU to look into residual and 2 tier affiliates programs when you get the chance...

This way a single article has much more potential to make hundreds and even thousands of dollars over time.

Congrats on your success...but did you really make $89?

Your taking action is certainly to be encouraged and applauded.

I'm surprised no one has noticed this, and I hate to be the one to ask....but how much were the articles? If they were as little as $5 each, you've so far lost money and your article writer made all the immediate profits.

I don't think you have factored this in...unless I've missed something.

To determine how much you made, normally you need to take costs off your gross profit figure. After that, I would encourage you to identify all the time you spent on this. They divide your net profit figure by the time you took to get an hourly rate.

You have discovered on the least talked about elements of article marketing. Clicks do dry up quickly without a further expenditure of time and effort.

But...you have got off to a fast start with article marketing and lets hope it sends you onto bigger and better things.

        Congrats.

        All the best

    Ben,

Make sure the keywords you're targeting have as little competition as possible. You'll get the boost in sales from people viewing your article at ezine but if you have a low competition keyword you might end up getting in the organic results of google.

    Cheers!
