YouTube closed my account but video still alive

Hi there,

on Saturday I uploaded my video for a special purpose on a new channel, different email and different name and even a different thumbnail.

Now, on Monday when I was checking my user ID, YouTube tells me:

"This account has been terminated due to repeated or severe violations of our Community Guidelines and/or claims of copyright infringement."

The strange thing: the video is still alive and the 'channel link' works and I am able to log in with my email account.

The problem comes up when using the youtube link together with
"youtube.com/user/...."

Is there a possibility to get it back. You may understand that I am not very experienced with those issues.

Thanks a million in advance for your help!

Yep - there's no way to communicate with them through email. Ok - one can send a letter but... I really have my doubts that they will answer. So I will live with it

happened to me also a while back, YT will keep the video running because once uploaded they own rights to your video, only good thing is your link still stays in the description so there is still a chance of receiving some traffic from your video.

Do you know exactly what the copyright infringement was on your videos?

My advice to you would be to not get your videos flagged.

That's Google's way of saying, " You're banned, but thanks for the content "

The video is registered by me. So there's no copyright infringement at all.

The video isn't flagged - they only closed my account to a certain extend.

How do you mean the video is registered through you?

If you uploaded content that didn't belong to you in just the smallest way, they will do you for it.

        Could be a mistake though.

Can you give us a link to the video?

When I say that I registered the video means that the pictures and voice are coming from my PC
I produced it.... 100% no copyright issue.

@LuceYosh - thanks for the link I will get in contact with them.

Hey, you tube did the process same to me. Yeah, they do not like me. It is partially back now. However, there is no Google minus. Therefore I cannot comment - what can we say. Just don't get me started on this company. Like I could talk all night long about how mad I am.

You can try to input your information there. That's where I'd start!

Good luck on getting your account back!
