I have seen people recommend iWriter around here although I have not used them myself. Also, SEOGenerals. Both of these services are featured on the Warrior Forum.

Take a look at the Warrior for Hire section. There are good writers there. Keep in mind though wherever you go, you get what you pay for... Don't be afraid to pay more for quality articles; it makes a difference.

Yes try all of them and also iwriter.com

The pay isn't great and there's a lot of competition but you can make some extra cash if you stand out from the crowd.

Your best bet is to get private clients through places like the Warrior for Hire section, eLance, oDesk and places like that. It is well worth the effort.

Other than that, give Constant Content a try, if you get accepted, you can earn good money there as a writer.

eLance and oDesk are the most popular among them, but you may also want to take a look at Freelancer.com. I'm not a member of any of them so, I can't say more about them.

Note that each of them have negative reviews, but it does not mean they're entirely bad.

Just make sure you clearly understand their Terms and Conditions before you join them.

I've done some writing for Hirewriters and they're legit. You can pick which articles you want to write. You get paid via Paypal every Friday if you have over $10 in your account. Not sure if you're required to be in the US.

You could try Fiverr also. Although there is a lot of competition there for writing services, if you write a good gig description with a good looking image, then get good feedback you might get some regular orders.

Writing is poverty pay.

A couple of bucks for an article.

Fiverr asks ridiculous requests, write article with images and tags and keywords for 4$ meanwhile it takes you 2 hours.

Or they just say heres my site, write something

Some writing is poverty pay, but if you do it right (and you're a good writer) you can make good money with it.

Unfortunately, most people don't do it right.

There's lots of writing that pays decently, and even handsomely. If you're a decent writer, then you can do far better than poverty level pay.
