Hey, I'm not new here, i forgot my password on here. I was quite active last summer.

My question is, is what kind of squeeze pages get a high conversion rate, in other words what kind of squeeze page real in a potential sale ?

I know this question is kinda vague, but just give me some examples ?

Obviously it'll depend on the quality of traffic you send, yaddy yadda....

Most of my "most successful" squeeze pages have been very simple.

The simpler, the better. The less information you asked them to enter, the better response.
My landing pages asked only for email address, and are very simple, just background image/video and one sentence to entice them to enter email address

Just out of curiosity. When you say "most successful" you're NOT talking about quality subscribers are you? Most likely you're talking about numbers instead. And to be fair. Blindly opting people onto your email list by giving absolutely NO upfront value first...is hardly the smartest way to build an email list, is it?

Again. Just like the comment above, you clearly care more about numbers than you do about quality subscribers. Pity people still do this nonsense and blindly opt people onto their email lists without giving any upfront value. Sure fire way to generate low quality subs. Don't know about you, but I definitely do NOT give my primary email address on stupid pages like these.

How's your open rates working out for you? I'm sure you'll lie and tell me they're great, but common sense says otherwise. People are opting into these pages blindly left right and center - and no way they're expecting anything of value once they subscribe. Therefore, they rarely give a primary email address, and 100% they have no intention of opting in to get emails.

Yes, I'm talking about opt-in rate - as that's what the poster asked about.

However, you can certainly build value within the mailing list.

You do not need to "build value" prior to having someone subscribe...the value is in being subscribed to the list.

Simple opt-in that excite the audience have been the most successful for me. "Discover the best foods for burning calories for 2014". Hope this helps!

  • I'm using more and more the picture background ones that come with optimize press 2 and a very primitive one with just text and optin both work good.

Just simple text based squeeze pages work best.

Average conversion rate 50% to 60%. (42% was the worst and 86% was the best in my most recent tests).

I have made over 10K so far with one page. You can see it in my signature. It is very simple and straight forward.

I think a video squeeze page converts better.

I'm having the most success by adding more content to my squeeze page. No longer just a headline, image and a few bullet points. I'm adding more content and it has really improved the quality of my leads.

I'm using a number of different squeeze page templates with the optin form and highlights of the offer above the fold. However, below the fold I am adding more content that explains my offer in more detail and who is making the offer. The idea is to build more credibility with the website visitor. It's working and has for a while.

Below this additional content I add either:

    1. Another optin form below the fold (Sometimes several)
    2. Images that link back to the top of the page and the optin form.

Creating a successful squeeze page only has to do with a few things:
1- where the traffic is coming from
2- the offer you are making (what you promise in return for their info)
3- the market's level of sophistication

If you take these variables into account and think about your campaign you don't need to be a world class copywriter to create a high-converting 40-50% page...

Here's one of my pages I just put up end of last week and it's conversion rate:

    Simple with a clean design.

    Factors
    *clear headline
    *opt-in form
    *feature/benefit list
    *call to action
*social rep (ex "See why over 1,200 people trust "product name") along with testimonials

    I find those work best.

But don't forget to split test!
