Default Order Now button Copying - Absolutely CRAP (Read this story)

Hi guys,

I recently got an email from someone that I copied an order now button which he has his own rights to it. The site which I had was custom designed for $300.
When I asked that guy what site I copied, he said, he can't tell me that now. He will tell only after I sign an NDA contract with him. He said to me that I should be prepared to get a DMCA tomorrow. What should I do, He also told that If I dont remove the button, I would have to pay $100,000 in legal expenses, What am I supposed to do? This guy is totally out of his mind.

G'day,
Akky

Akky,

As to the threat, IANAL but it sure sounds like the site owner (I saw the site you mentioned before you edited your post, so it's easy to trace the owner...) should have better things to do then be occupied with these things..... Sounds weird, too much legal mumbo jumbo....
(BTW: how do you absolutely know that the person you mentioned is indeed the one involved, and is who they say it is???)

In any case, as dbbrock1 says, it's probably easier, better and right for you to get another button made.

First off, you should have never mentioned who this is. It's a violation of rule number one on this forum.

Secondly, we are not lawyers here, you should get one now and ask them.

Here's a simple enough fix in the meantime:

The Belcher Button (Photoshop PSD Download)...Increase Sales 35-320% with this "Buy" Button

Just change it out for this for now until you get professional advice.

I'm sorry guys but I mistaken the guy for someone else. That's why I removed the name. It seems like he's nothing more than an anonymous person who's got lots of free time . I think I'll use the buttons Floyd gave me, forget it and move on . Thanks for the help guys Really Appreciate
