Lots of domain names, need some suggestions for a niche site

I have all of the domains listed below, I am looking for some suggestions to build up some of these domains into IM sites. There are a few bluetooth broadcasting domains, a few text messaging domains, couple prepper domains, a couple android app domains, etc. I have a server and can light up any of these but I am new to IM and looking for some suggestions on which if any look like good candidates for an authority/niche site?

    If you are not sure what you can do with them why did you buy them in the first place? When buying domains you should always see a goal or purpose for it. So when you bought these what were they saying to you.

    Most are well below reg fee if you tried to sell them. Personally I can only see a few worth making a site out of.

    They are the only domains that would be worth doing anything with imo.

    wp-switch could be a nice long term project revolving around Wordpress tutorials or something.

    You can monetize bluetoothbroadcasting.com also with Amazon. You can market blue tooth devices like bluetooth keywords, headsets, speakers, adapters etc.

      Since you say you're new to Internet marketing I will tell you this:

      The place to start marketing anything is with market research, not with domain names.

      You want to identify commercially viable niches and hungry consumers first before you think about products to sell, ways to monetize your site, and other considerations like a domain name.

      Any of your domains could work and all of them could be duds depending upon your skill as a marketer.

      Domain names aren't inherently valuable . . . it's what you do to develop them and drive traffic to them that's important.

      Sitting on a stable of domain names hoping they'll increase in value is a losing proposition as they cost you money annually in renewal fees.

      Thanks for the breakdown, but what is a "BH" forum ? Would monitizing a proxy server with adsense or other affiliate programs work?

        BH = Blackhat.

        The art of spamming the sh*t out of everything and everybody to make a buck, that is why they need lots of proxies for their softwares and whatnot, as they quickly get blacklisted.

        Don't use Adsense on anything except on a legitimate website and certainly not for anything that relates to spamming, proxy users are not going to click ads anyway.

        There are legitimate uses for proxies of course, like software tools that use a lot of Google SE queries and rotate IP's to prevent temporary banning for over-use.

        I don't know why you have so many domains it sort of looks like you fell into the "buy because it sounds cool to me" trap while getting into the domaining market.

        Personally I think you would be better off keeping a couple of the best names and developing sites on them then letting the rest expire gracefully.

    I agree with the statement about market research, however it seems like good domain names go for a pretty penny these days and if I had a few that would be a starting point for a niche I would be money ahead, my issue is that being new, I don't know what the viable niches are and am in the process of learning how to figure them out.

    Like Tiremats.com, I thought that one was viable but via amazon selling 10 mats would net $6 commission, thinking that would be a tough customer acquisition ratio if I was paying for traffic.

    I don't mind paying for a domain name to align with a good viable niche, just wanted thoughts on the domains I already own. Thank you to those who commented and broke it down for me!

    Personally I'd fill them with videos, and see which ones get traffic, then take those sites and develop them to sell the products and services they describe.

    I think you've gone a bit over the top, if you had no idea what to do with these domains, why the heck did you buy so many?

    All of the bluetooth, proxi and text domains were part of a previous business that manufactured and marketed bluetooth broadcast advertising (sending ads to cell phones within range of the transmitter) and also sold text messaging campaigns. Many of the domains were servers on a global network and are left over from the closing of that business.

    Yes I made a boatload of money running that business during the heart of the recession.

    Now they are mostly left over domains that I should probably let go of.

    A few were speculative domains, tiremats, seacoast etc. but the bulk of them were used in a previous business and should get released.

    bluetooth is a trademark, there are many domains with that keyword around, but it's never safe.

    Check the traffic they get and only develop the best, don't waste time and resources on the worst.

    For those who wonder the point of registering so many domains: Domain name investing is still a viable (and potentially lucrative) business model.

    To the OP: If you don't have ideas and/or resources for developing them and they're paid up for awhile, put up a parking/for sale page.
