Internet Marketing Discussion - Moderators

1 replies
Forum,

Greetings. Some time ago, I paid my fee to be a member of this forum. I read all rules and abide by them faithfully. However, there seems to be a group of Moderators removing my blog posts as well as post signature link. Each time (and it is one Moderator specifically) I ask what is going on, they give some vague answer or say "you must advertise". When checking how other Warrior's (non-minorities) signature's appear in blog posts as well as not only links, ads and other such things, many clearly violate policy yet they remain while I, being much less aggressive (only one-link), have been slapped.

One Moderator went as far as to delete blog posts and gave me no reason for doing so although I followed all rules. When a Moderator takes the time to answer, they are so non-specific with violations that even were some rule broken, I wouldn't know which. I'd heard that women and minorities should avoid this forum but I didn't listen (some people just like to whine for lack of success and as a U.S. Marine - be assured this isn't my approach) and now believe I should have. What most may find interesting is that once I changed the profile avatar from MY FACE to a social media icon of a blond-haired man, I received much less hassle but the Moderator who knew I did so is still harassing me without teaching me what I should do to avoid his wrath.

I am sure this post has only two fates;

1. Will be 'reported' by those who don't welcome others to post more than they and will thus, complain and Moderators will delete

2. Generate discussion which will lead to no changes

I realize that Moderators, sometimes, delete posts if just a few people complain and my question is - is there any mechanism in place to assure others aren't complaining just to gain competitive advantage? Another is - why can no one tell me what rule I've broken CLEARLY? Why are others allowed to place such aggressive signature, affiliate codes in anchor text which clearly breach the rules and I, being much less and offering a simple anchor text link being targeted? Just so Warrior's know, the many African-American marketing forums which exist were launched by former Warrior Forum Members who 'say' they couldn't get a fair shake here.

Please forum - if any has the time, please spot check a few of my posts and tell me (when compared to other bloggers) what I am doing wrong. All I am seeking is solutions. I have more than 5,000 online students (and growing) and a fair number are Affiliate Marketers searching for brand messaging platforms and have $$$ to spend on ads but thus far, I've had to either warn them away from here or fail to mention it's existence to newbies because I am unsure what sort of treatment they may receive should they decide to either advertise or blog. Believe me, having to send them to websites such as buysellads.com and others instead of Warrior is just heart breaking but how can I credibly recommend this when I, there teacher, can't get a handle on its' proper use?

    Why would anyone care about your race or gender? All that's needed to know that we don't play those games is to look around. EVERY group is a minority online, when compared to the rest of the world. You will not see racist or sexist comments tolerated here. Or slams against anyone's religion, political persuasion, or any of the other Isms.

    If a moderator is deleting some of your blog posts and not others, the clue is right there. What is different?
    why can no one tell me what rule I've broken CLEARLY?
    Whoever deleted them probably realizes that you will argue the point forever, and never accept the decision. That's why we normally don't even get into the discussion.

    I will wager that the ones that were deleted were seen as being ads. That's the reason for virtually all blog post deletions I've seen.

    Edited to add: No longer any need to wager. I looked. Of the roughly 50 posts on your blog, the 3 that were deleted were all commented with notes indicating the mod who removed them considered them ads.
