HELP.. I have a product, now what?

Hi guys, I have a couple of products for a particular niche. One is an ebook and the other is a series of 5 how to videos.

It's a pretty popular niche (not IM) and other people that have books seem to also have very very popular blogs.

I am wondering whether I should be building a blog to gain authority in the niche and then launch the product OR just go ahead and get the product out there and get traffic direct to the sales page??

      Hi Joseph, it's the 'Freelance' market, mainly focussed on Freelance Creatives (designers, illustrators, writers etc)

    First you should build a capture page with an email opt-in form followed by an autoresponder. You could also upload videos on youtube about your niche product to bring constant traffic to your website. If you have no knowledge on how to build a capture page dont worry there are tons of systems out there to help you. I would prefer the Mastermind System since that is what i use

    Hi Meanna,

    Since you already have the product made, you can just simply put a link on your blog and advertise it there. If you want to sell your product effectively, you should, as you say, build preeminence in your marketplace so that you are known as the go-to-guy in your niche.

    If you do not have a website and/or websites to sell the products, that would be the first thing you should be thinking about.
    • Build a website and optimize well for internal search engine optimization factors.
    After you are sure that you website has a good internal link structure and is relevant to the keywords and/or keyword phrases that you want to target, then you can start optimizing it for external search engine optimization factors.

    If you take the time to make your website is optimized well internal SEO factors, then it is much easier to promote it to search engines for free organic traffic.

        Would you say it's worth the experience of selling some myself before going down that road?
