Joint Venture & Profits

Hello Everyone,

I am fairly new to the whole internet business niche.
I would like to know, how the money is properly controlled when you have an outside partner to deal with.
For example, if I collaborate with someone to make and sell a product.
How are the profits distributed between us so that no one can cheat anyone?

If my partner gets all the money and later gives me my part. How will I know he is not withholding something?
Is there a neutral funds holder like an escrow company that makes sure everyone gets paid the way they are supposed to?

Thank You & Best Wishes

Like it or not and whether you can afford it or not, you are going to need an affiliate script or a partner who has one. I still have two of my products being sold replete with my name on them and I lost enough on that one deal to set up my entire business online.

It may be expensive but not nearly as expensive as losing all of your work and getting nothing in return.

    Just my two cents

A great many deals are done on trust, with no legal agreements or automatic scripts; one person collects the money, and then divides the proceeds later. This is best used when the offer is run for just a limited time, say a week or 30 days, and then the sales site is closed down - so everyone can see exactly when the sales page was available. Obviously you need to get to know people well before doing deals this way, or get in touch with someone who has a well-known trusted reputation. I'm sure if you have a good product, then any of the top marketers will be happy to consider a JV,

      best wishes,

      Jon.
