Must-Have Tools Internet Marketers Use On a Regular Basis

Hi Warriors I got me a question. I am doing some research on the Must- Have tools Internet Marketers use on a regular basis.

I'm talking about tools for ecommerce, link tracking, website building, site analytics, social media and autoresponders. You know, the tools that are at your side all month long helping you crush it online.

Now they can be either free or paid, it doesn't matter.

What marketing tools would you consider a Must-Have for your online business?

Cheers!

Randy

WordPress (for websites), hostgator (for hosting), namecheap, or other (for domain names), Mailpoet, or other (for autoresponder), Google analytics, pretty link or bit.ly (for link tracking)

There are so many I've used over time depending on what I'm doing. The more you can simplify the better. I use a site called springpad now to remember links, make notes. I use mostly skydrive to save/share files.

An autoresponder account, I use a self-hosted solution.

A link tracking tool, I use PrettyLink.

A hosting account, not necessary, and there are many free choices.

The common lot, but one thing new I've been using lately that has become indispensable is a desktop app called Putler.

It allows you to download your entire PayPal sales and transactions history through API and you can sort and tag transactions. It also gives you real-time sales forecasting, keeping track of certain customers, and you can even issue refunds directly inside the app if you need to. Looking up particular transactions or customers is lightning fast.

Just an excellent, useful and convenient tool if your business is mostly dependent on PayPal sales. I've been using it for several months now and I would hate to be without it.

    I just need:

    Content (keyboard)
Traffic (social sites and umm..social sites?)
    Hosting (hostgator is pretty good)
Focus (can't get distracted by other stuff)

That's pretty much all I use!

I guess it greatly depends on what you are doing. I use these (in no particular order)
    Notepad++
    Scrapebox
    SE Nuke
Handy File find and replace (the really old and free version)
and from my own software - Backlink Falcon since I check tons of links every day

Keyword Snooper - fast and super-affordable keyword tool
