Make Clickbank salespages appear in your website or cloak your link for free

***Please make sure you have the permission of the pages you link to***

***Please make sure that this script which is an "I frame re-direct" does not breech the T.O.S. of the Affiliate service you use. (For example it should not be used with Clickbank)***

Here is a useful way to make website pages, from another website, appear as if they are part of your website. Lots of people are already using it but unless you are looking for it, you would not notice it.

This method is particularly useful if you are an affiliate and wish to make the sales page of the product you are trying to gain commission on, appear seamlessly after your visitor has clicked on your referral link.

Instead of seeing an ugly affiliate link and been taken to another website, the visitor will see the sales page appear as part of your website. How cool is that?

You can find full instructions here: Save The Bees
(For the record, the instruction page and example pages are closed pages, not accessible from anywhere else on the website and do not contain any sales links or offers. )

I know, this could of probably packaged up as very expensive software and you could be charged a small fortune for it but instead it is offered free but you will be asked a small favour in return.

I cannot claim credit for writing the script, I am not that techy. It was given to Greenjackdavey, explicitly to help him raise awareness of the issues on his website. I told him I knew just the place where people would find it useful!

Where else would you find people giving this stuff away! I love this place.
This works great with clickbank pages and it is acting as a link cloaker. Thank you for this, it has a lot of potential. I have some other things I want to try with it, saves "borrowing" stuff from Wikipedia, now I can just link.

BUT is there some sort of downside, like the way it affects the S.E.O. of the website/s? I do not want to look a gift horse in the mouth but this seems to good to be true.

(God, is it really that bad about the bees? you got my backlink)

    Hi John,
The only problem we have seen is, if you use "Google webmaster tools" you might have a "warning" about their web bot not finding "1.html". It does not look like it is anything to worry about as far as ratings go, it is not showing up as an "error".

Apart from that it appears to be a brilliant link cloaker and you can add weight to a website's content using pages from elsewhere, while the search engines are picking up your meta tags on the forwarding page.

(Yes, the bees are disappearing, topically to-night there was a good spot on "Gardener's World" (BBC1))

This obviously works as a redirect script but it uses a frame redirect - which, unfortunately is against a number of affiliate TOS' - including Clickbank's.

I just spent 30 mins going through Clickbank's T.O.S in case my new review page I made using the script is breaking their rules. I cannot find anything about using frame redirects. Can you quote the bit that refers to not using re-directs for me? It is a shame if I am not allowed to use it as I just picked up two commissions, after two weeks of nothing using a straight clickbank hoplink, so it does make a difference. If you can point out the bit to me, I will have to knock out the page from my website and just use the script for "Smartdd" Sales pages.

This seems fascinating, but I have to admit, I'm a little confused. The link still takes the visitor to the Clickbank sales pitch, only the address is shown as under my domain? Nothing on the actual Clickbank page is changed, correct?

Dumb question, I know, but I want to be sure I understand.

    Thanks!

The way I have used it is to review half a dozen clickbank products set up in a table with a find out more about...... link. Each link then opens up the appropriate sales page as if it is another page on my website, with my domain name in the top of the browser.
It works very quickly and cloaks my affiliate links. It will be a shame if it breaches Clickbank rules as pjCheviot above believes. I cannot really see the harm in it but perhaps I am missing something.

      That clears it up. Thanks.

I have just noticed something else screwy here! I link internally to the re-direct page with the same works as the name of the folder and the re-direct page allows you to put in a header and met-tags. Google appears to have picked up one of my re-direct pages meta "descriptions"and associated it with the text of the page it is pointing to, duh? When you click the link in google search, you end up on the clickbank sales page, and it appears my affiliate link is intact. I am beginning to worry this script is slightly black hattish, if not dark grey.

I still cannot find anything in Clickbank TOS prohibiting redirects, what about link cloakers, does that mean you cannot use them either? Anybody Know?

    P J CHEVIOT

Well thank you! I just wasted 1 hour reading through clickbanks tos and could not find anything. So I decided to drop you an email at your blog, to see if you could help and point out the part that tells me I cannot use a re-direct script and what do I find..

"Take a look at ReDirect-A-Link and see just what it has to offer - you'll be surprised just what a time saver it is too - no more copying and pasting code into a file - creating a new directory - uploading the file to your site etc etc"

You are actually promoting re-direct software from your blog! Think I will stick with the free script, all it has cost me is a back-link to a good cause.

Thank You Andrew, (Rondo), and my apologies to P J Cheviot

Looks like I will have to take all the Clickbank links out straight away and just keep the ones to the smartdd products, thought this was to good, oh well.

What about Google do you think it will upset them?
I will drop an email to Greenjackdavey
    thanks John

Apologies all - I was unavailable after the original post and just got back to find the rest of the posts here.

Yes the Clickbank TOS relate to Q10 here

    FAQ HopLink - ClickBank

I have a product on the market (ReDirect-A-Link) - a part of which can produce the frame redirect procedure if required. I have recently taken that product down due to the confusion some people were having with the Terms of Use. The frame redirect is perfectly acceptable for a lot of situations, but, as stated before, there are Companies which do not allow such redirects. I am currently re-wording the product to highlight any anomalies.

Apologies for not returning sooner, but I hope this clarifies things a little.
