Ive Hit The Wall With Traffic, Considering Article Syndication

Hi everyone,

Well the last month has been quite interesting!

Nov 1st I finally took action and started my first IM campaign. Very simple stuff, PPC to landing page (pre-sell), link to CB offer.

Made a profit of $1640 in November, to my surprise!

However, Ive hit the wall with my PPC. The more I raised my bids, more traffic flows but my margin never seems to improve. In fact, Ive reached a point where I cant seem to make any more daily profit.

So I'm looking at article syndication to drive quality traffic to my landing page, however I know very little about it and I dont know where to start.

So any advice on getting started would be much appreciated.

Chris Farquar

P.S. I also have a squeeze page and a 7 day AR series all set up to sell the CB product. I ran this too and found to my surprise it didnt convert as well as the method above!

Interesting finds. Have you tried solo ads?

I wouldn't necessarily go the route of article syndication, but others might think differently. Depending on the product, you might want to consider doing a review on Youtube or even building up your own audience on youtube that relates to the product.

      Do this one thing.

Search the forum for Alexa Smith and you'll be a happy camper. She's the best on the forum for syndication.

I get a great deal of traffic from syndication as well but why re invent the wheel. Search her and start reading her threads on the topic.

Oh, and you'll likely need a beverage and a few hours.

This is exactly what I was going to say. Only you'll need 3-4 beverages, and more than a few hours! It is well worth the time though. Alexa breaks it all down very nicely for you.

And while I'm here, I highly recommend using good article syndication as a method of getting traffic. It gets you targeted traffic, builds trust & relationships and as a bit of an added benefit, you'll also get some SEO perks. It really is a very powerful strategy, when done right!

Great job on your profit so far, and way to take action!

Yeah, you're likely more accurate on the beverage count but I didn't want to scare him off.

Article syndication is a viable option, but perhaps consider promoting other products with your paid traffic method. You've succeeded once, surely you can again.

In fact, profiting like that out of the gate is really, really impressive. Obviously you've developed a bidding strategy, ad copy method and landing page set up that converts. It must be able to work for other products/other target markets.

    That's what I would do.

      I cant agree with this more... wash rinse repeat. If you are making $1600 on one, why not 2x $1600 on two, or 10x. Using the funnel as a analogy, drawing traffic from multiple sources to a single landing page }-. Once you find success you can reverse the funnel as it were. Duplicating your landing page and creating multiple sources of income. -{

Here's what I would do. Set up an email list with a simple one click for the person who's buying the product to get on your email list. Tell them that you'll be sending them other offers you think they might like. The people who sign up on that are interested in buying more from you. If it's an affiliate link, no problem. tell them you have a bonus and they just need to sign up after getting the product to get the bonus and be on your list.

What you do with it from there is up to you. It won't increase your traffic, but it will give you a list of customers which sounds like a good thing.

Was the $1640 frontend revenue? How much money did you make from repeat customers from after your sales? Why can't you scale down your bids?
