Email Followup help

Hi everyone,

I have a system for customer followup for my network marketing biz. What I'm looking for is an email followup system where, once a customer places and order, their email address gets entered and they begin getting a series of follow up emails at set intervals. I hope this is a clear enough explanation... I need it to be sort of a revolving system since everyone will be getting their emails based on their purchase date and not a set schedule set up by me. I know that there are some big name autoresponders but does anyone know if any of them have the capability to do what I'm looking for?

    You would need to still have the persons permission so your best bet to do is after the order give them a optin link for a discount code on your product next time they order or a free product etc. You cant just slap someone on your email list because they ordered unless you tie it in some way. A check mark box that filters the forum data over to your aweber list etc.

    Yup you can capture their information before they order as well or even on the same forum they are filling out for the order. They just need to have some way of saying Yes I agree to get these emails.

    Every company/product etc does it their own way for what niche they are in and what people will tolerate.

    Squeeze page > Email about product/link goes to Product sales page > sale is made > offer for something free or discount
    (this would build both a free list of possible sales and a paid list the people that have bought from you and express interest in learning more)

    Thanks for your help... One last questions... Ok so say they place an order. I send them a "thanks for your purchase" email with an offer for a free offer/gift. The link sends them to a capture page with the opt in for the follow up emails. That takes care of the getting permission after the sale but is there an auto responder that runs on that type of revolving schedule?

    Most already do I personally use Aweber but there are a number of others out there such as Get Response, Mail chimp and I contact to name a few. Most of these will allow you to customize your set ups such as days of delivery, email series so when a new person joins your list they are presented with email 1 on day 1 email 2 on day 3 etc you can customize it and also broadcast which will allow you to set up an email that goes out to all current members.

    Almost every good auto responder can do what you said, subscribers can receive follow up messages scheduled by you, and take the subscription time as the start time, after one specific time, they receive one message, then another after another specific time.

    But you need to ask customers subscribe to your list in order to get customer service.

    I am using getresponse for that purpose,
    After payment i redirect my customers to optin page, where they have to fill form in order for completion, and also they have to enter further details required for order
    Then they start getting my follow up emails, every one get email as starting from their form filling date
    you can also have multiple campaigns, having different follow ups for your different set of customers
