How can I sell my computer related/technical knowledge?

Hey there!

So I haven't posted in a while and I've been thinking of somehow selling my computer related/technical knowledge. I'm really good with computers and any kind of technical stuff...

How would I go about selling this knowledge?
Can anyone give me a few ideas?

    Dave,

    I think you'll have a difficult time selling "general" computer skills.

    You could do very well, however, selling your services geared toward doing specific tasks.

    So the analysis of what you can do for money needs to begin with you listing all the specific tasks you are good at and especially those you enjoy doing.

    Then do your market research online to see what kind of demand there is for those specific things you're considering. Visit the technical forums and see what questions are being asked and whether you could do those things on a regular basis to make a consistent income.

    It's the same with any market analysis, find a hungry audience, see what they want, design a way to give the specific thing to them, then provide an outstanding service with over-the-top customer care and you're well on your way to having a very successful Internet business.

    I've seen guys like you make a living doing freelance work, but they're constantly busy because of the network they've built over time.

    I have no idea how you can create that network. It seems like a very offline kind of thing. But if you do a good job, word spreads. There's a huge market for IT guys in general.

    First of all I want to say that knowledge is the King and you are the King as you possess knowledge.

    If you are thinking short term you can publish a book at Amazon.
    If you want to make it some what medium term you can sell your product on Clickbank.
    And if you want to be full time long lasting then you should build a blog and start grabbing visitors and then create a membership site or sell a product directly on your website.

    I personally don't know any such site but if there is any question and answer site related to computer technical issues and solutions, which pay for answering the questions then it will be good for you.
    As I've seen people asking minor issues on yahoo answers.
