Fiverr Launches Iphone App

Today Fiverr launched its new Iphone App.

What do you guys think about this? Do you think it will get you more orders? Im not too sure. I think it may be useful for people explaining what Fiverr is to friends at the Bar etc, but other than that, i cant see any benefits of it!

It is a great idea because as soon as they have it in a smartphone market place then people would be carious and download it and have fun with it all the way. and it makes it easier to access... there are millions and millions of people on there smartphone daily so wouldn't that get you sale and more profit? lol good luck.
    hope that helped

From my point of view it will not increase the order of a seller as from my knowldge concern fiverr is a place where buyer come to time pass to view the video of attractive gig nothing else.
    Thanks

I get that some people find apps easier to use, but I'd rather just have a mobile-optimized website to access through my browser.

Over time it should be beneficial as more and more people are now using mobile devices for internet. And fiverr is more convinient for mobile devices as you don't need to type to order.

I'm sure it would be easier for repeat orders. Many more people are doing everything with their smart phones now.

I hope it gets me more orders! Do you know if you can receive new orders on the app? If so i'm going to absolutely love it.

It may open Fiverr up to a wider audience but if people like us are wanting some serious work done, I don't see how it would really benefit us.

I have not seen an increase. Hope that we can gain more exposure. What I have noticed is that a lot of people now demand for a job multiple gigs. For example, a drawing is one gig for color, one gig for ink, one gig for pencil, one gig for background, one gig for character and $25 total you need to pay. Like it is not $5 any more. Alas, those days are so gone. Maybe we will get more sales from this I phone app. Time will tell as we say.

Some people do everything on their phone these days, or else their tablet. It will probably be very useful to iPad users.
Also, having an app or a mobile website adds to the legitimacy of the business even if it isn't special or better than the website itself. I think it can consciously or unconsciously add to the respect certain people give to the business. Apps are becoming a necessity.
