How much my domain name is worth?

Hello!

I registred a domain name few month ago: AlloBank com thinking it would be worth something but nobody want to buy it...In your opinion is it worth something?

    Value depends upon a range of factors. I can't see why this domain name would hold much value to be honest.

    1) This is worthless because it appears to be someone else's intellectual property (Google it)

    2) Even if it wasn't someone else's property, it would be worthless because it has no inherent value (what does it mean? if nothing, why would someone buy it from you as opposed to making their own meaningless name?)

    What makes you think you can come up with a brandable+bank kind of name and then have interested buyers beat a path to your door with money in their hands? Is there some example you have seen where something like this worked?

    Not to be too negative, but this strategy is almost guaranteed to fail. You need to spend a lot of time learning about domaining before you spend another penny in it.

    Jack has summed it up nicely for you,
    but marketers should have a never-say-die attitude. (unless its proven dead)

    Here's a shot in the dark, last gasp, do-or-die suggestion for you.
    Find a guy called Al Lo who either owns a bank or is thinking of setting one up, and not necessarily a financial institution.

    I would think that name is common in Singapore, Malaya, and Hong Kong.

              I know you meant $2k - $4k, but even $2 feels like $2 too much.

              To the right buyer who wants something badly, anything has value.

              The question here, is what gives this particular attempt any value whatsoever? I see nothing, but maybe I am missing it. I have been dense before.

    If you are using any of those worthless sites that gives you a premature value of your site to know it's worth then you must be daydreaming.

    For crying out loud, it's human that buys site and not bots, hence relying on bot calculations is the highest level of deception.

    The most important thing in valuing a site is it's earnings capacity then others follows.m
