Question on Uber Micro Niches

Hello

Let's say I had a few products that only had 50,000 pages written on them, and 100-200 searches a month, but they had uber margins, and let's say they were ultra specialized items, and were used by professionals. How would I go about marketing these items?

The first thing that comes to mind for me is high-quality white papers. I don't know, of course, exactly what these products are. But if they are what they sound like to me, they're going to need professional tier copy promoting them that some general squeeze-fest isn't going to provide.

If you want people to drop major cash at once, your website is going to need to wreak class and authority, unlike the classless nature of this sentence

If appropriate, post interviews and/or case studies with some relevant audience members.

White papers are a good way to establish yourself as a niche expert. These documents are spread around the internet and have a viral marketing effect and very useful so long as they are branded with your site name/link.

Another suggestion is using Adwords or other ad network to attract interested niche buyers to your site/pages.

That is what I was thinking. I am just wondering which would be better to invest in. Most of them are medical related, so I think it would be best to have a professional write it. Do you think you could easily outrank pdf files? And would professionals buy this stuff online?

I have had a lot of personal experience working with doctors and if you think that your technical knowledge is lacking when you need to create copy I would highly recommend that you have a professional write it, or at least proof it before you put it out. This is of course if you absolutely need to explain technical terms in your copy.

In terms of "would professionals buy this stuff online?" Well.. that all depends on your product

I am a medical/science/health journalist content, and copywriter in this niche and I can tell you this. You cannot fake anything (authority, knowledge, quality) in this niche. If these are medical high-dollar items, you need to understand exactly what the buying process is like.

Your chances of outranking the professionals can be high in some parts of this niche because there isn't a lot of copy being published and promoted.

It really does all depend on your product, so I can't really get any more specific or exact without knowing the product.
