Obtaining SSL Certificate

I want to purchase an SSL certificate so that I can use my squeeze page in Facebook tab.

This is the first time that I read about SSL certificate and I found out that there are a lot of variations in prices.

This is the cheapest one that I found: https://www.namecheap.com/ssl-certif...rtificate.aspx

Any recommendations?

    Cheap SSL certificates are only good for testing purposes, or for a cheap solution that hosting companies use. For something important where your visitors won't get the warning message about the certificate being unsigned, you need a good quality signed certificate, and that will cost you some money, above $100 usually. Never use a cheap certificate for production websites, squeeze pages or anything else where visitors will be warned. Not a good strategy for building trust.

    It's that price when you purchase multiple years.

    Most people also don't know, a lot of the SSL certs you purchase, regardless of price are issued by the same couple companies.

    Comodo offers a good SSL certificate, but they are not very cheap.
