Blog posts and pages - Ratio etc...

While establishing an authority site with a bright future how should the ratio between blog posts and fixed pages be and the interlinking?

I'm in the process of building a big information site on a certain subject and add a store to it in the future but am not sure of how much should be in pages and how much in blog posts...

any thoughts?

    Generally blog pages are used to create static sales / pre sell pages and blog posts are created on regular basis with a link back to your are static sales / pre sell pages. So the number of pages will be few compared to continuously increasing blog posts. This way when you share your posts on social media and when your posts rank on search engines you can drive a lot of traffic to the static pages.

      If you've got evergreen content, that should go on pages. When you write articles about things that are happening in your market right now, use posts. There is no ideal ratio.
