Amazon affiliate link localizer plugin

I'm currently losing about 50% of my profits because I'm on the amazon.com program. I'm thinking about using this plugin, WordPress › Amazon Affiliate Link Localizer « WordPress Plugins but I'm not sure about it.

Is anybody using this and liking it? Or have any better options?

There was some hoo-hah a while back with this plug-in not working working properly, as I recall thus the sales commissions went to the default setting which is...

"Disclosure: If you don't have an affiliate account with one of the Amazon countries and leave its setting blank, the script will use mine. It'll never overwrite your affiliate IDs though, so don't worry - you'll never lose any revenue."

You would be better offer trying to get US-only traffic to your site.
Make sure you are tracking where it's coming from though because Amazon won't tell you.

No wonder they expanded so quick, with all that 'foreign' traffic affiliates are sending them

    EasyAzon 3 by Chris Guthrie is a good plug-in but it's $47

The easyazon looks great, Im about to buy it. Does anybody know if the localization feature will localize all the current links on my site, or will I have to re-add them through the plugin?

All the links you already have should still work, regardless of the plug-in because you set them without it,
but I don't think your old links will 'localise' via the plug-in, you will have to set them up again via EA3.
Just to make certain I'm correct contact Chris use support @ easyazon.com,
(no spaces) you should get a reply within 24 although allow for Sunday

In the meantime, if you don't have one go and get your API Access Key ID - and
      Secret Access Key from Amazon.

Log in to your associates page and click on the Product Advertising API link on the menu on the left side of the page.
On the next screen click on the sign-up button on the top right, log-in again and follow the instructions, when you get them save those keys in an HTML editor like notepad.exe you will need them for EA3.

Also if you decide to purchase, keep a note of your Paypal transaction ID you will also need this for activation.

P.S. Don't let that lot put you off, using the plug-in is a breeze
