Warriors, I just have a product launched last week on ClickBank, it's not about Internet Marketing, but it's about pregnancy and parenting. Now, I have a plan to make some kind of JV announcement, but I saw on those JV announcement sites, the products that announced mostly about money making product. Is my product not suitable to be announced for JV? Since I'm very new about JV, do you think by giving 75% commission from $39.95 will attract people to join? or should I give something else...? please kindly give me some clue to make this JV plan works for me... ![]() big thanks, john |

Make sure your sales page is fully up to scratch and also you have an affiliate section to help newbie affiliates start promoting (banners and images go a long way). Then a secret but very powerful tip is actually contact owners of sites that are in the same niche and show them your product and how it can benefit them to earn extra income. This includes if they are already promoting someone elses product. You can get their information either from the site or the whois information. Tom Brite

And don't be intimidated by the fact that you're new to JVing. You've got a solid product. Get solid affiliate materials, and you'll have a good launch.

Out of interest, and I'm really interested to know. Have affiliates been provided with banner creatives? If they have been, I think this is the best suited method to promoting your particular product, in a JV style. Because.. You can find the keywords realted to your niche, find blogs that have banner space, and get your product noticed by them. I'm not sure if directly asking them to put your banners on their site will work, but commenting on their blogs might well do that whole idea a very good favour. Just a thought and I hope it helps. |

I want a good keyword researcher, not for min sites but for tech articles. Hit me up if you've got those skillz!

They have free banner space. They could be monetizing it. Simple as that.

Allowing the blog owners to make a decision for themselves to put it there, is not. If someone were to ask for banner space on any of my sites, I'd think my site to be of enough value for them to pay me to have it there.

When I have free spaces on blogs, and someone with a new product approaches me with a product, and cuts me some sort of deal [higher than usual commission/etc], I say yes. I'd be a moron not to.

I'm sure a lot will agree with me that if someone were to ask to place their banner on your website, you would want them to pay you.

| No, I'm just honestly trying to understand, is all. You ask people to PAY you extra after they're already cutting you a commission on their products?

Why? Because a lot of someone elses hard work has went into creating the place for you to advertise. Everyone may not be as smart to request payment, but I know for a fact there are many here, who would most definately want paid for that banner spot.

The only reason people ask for other's to pay for banner space is if they don't get anything from it. In that case you would be buying ad space and placing a banner for your product and keeping 100% of sales generated. But in this case they would be more than willing to put the banner on their site and earn a commission on sales generated from their site, especially seeing as the commission is normally more than what they would have got for just selling ad space. It's so crap I can't go into the very detail I want to with this one. I feel to clammed in the WF to speak my mind and tell you the REAL reason I wouldn't allow someone to request an information product banner on my site without paying me. Anyways, I'll leave you to it. To the guy that started the thread, take my advice from up there ^^^ If you don't it will be a situation of, what would have happened if it hadn't of happened |

Guys, thanks for encouraging me to keep moving forward on JV. I was so desperate, because I thought JV only works for IM products. but today, I see that I have opportunity to have JV deals too on non-IM product. as long as I can give great commission and promo materials. next week my son will have his birthday party (1st year), hopefully I can give him something that makes him proud someday... thanks to all of you guys! |
