Default A question for you Opt-in Warriors out there...

I have a list that is averaging about 100 opt-ins a day, however nearly half of them never verify.

My first question is - What is a good/normal opt-in verify rate?

And - What suggestions do you have for increasing the amount of verifications?

Hi,
You may already do this, but once they opt in with their email address I send them to another page where at the top it says in larger letters, BUT YOU MUST verify your email in order to get your FREE GIFT! I also tell them to check their junk mail in case it went there.

Then below you can continue on with whatever page you were sending them to.

That seemed to help my verification rate go up.

90% plus of my prospects confirm/verify - across many niches.

What are you doing to help those people confirm?

If you have aweber ...

After they opt-in...

- You could send folks to a page that really urges them to go and confirm right now - before they forget or lose your confirmation email among the others - and miss out on your valuable info.

- The page should have an image of your free giveaway and perhaps an extra gift for confirming.

Help This Helps!!

Great advice so far - I'm going to definitely work on my follow-up page.

There was another thread where someone posted an image of their mail account and showed the user what the confirm email looked like.
