Marketing during Christmas Holidays

Hi guys,
I see less conversions lately and I think the reason is Christmas Holidays.

For some products Christmas time might bring a boost in sales. So probably it depends on what you are selling.

Please share your insights.

Package everything as a 'potential gift' in your marketing campaigns. Worth a shot?

People have usualy less time before and during Christmas so even if they would normally be interested in your offer, they might just click away, thinking the'll get back to it - and of course they never do. However, it doesn't mean you can't sell durring this perido! You might need a more targeted offer...
    Good luck

I think the weeks and months before Christmas are better for making more sales because of the fact nobody will trust online retailers to deliver in time for the big day (at least not in the UK)

I would say November is the best time to sell to Christmas shoppers online.

Ya, that's what I was thinking too. People probably did all their online Christmas shopping months ago, at least weeks ago. Even if they have some last minute shopping to do, I'm thinking they'd prefer to go to the nearest Walmart than risk the online retailers delivering the stuff after Christmas.

I have heard a lot of people getting a jump in sales in December, but we are in the middle of December, so I'm not so sure.

But, don't give up on your site yet. You can build it up so you can be ready for the next Christmas.
