Hi everybody,

If you are looking to use your existing "pitch page" on clickbank, can you still keep your paypal buy it now buttons on the page or do you have to remove them and use clickbank buttons?

I wanted to continue marketing the page on places other then clickbank, so how would I keep both the pages under the same domain name since I would have two index.html files now?

    Hi MG,

You'll need to keep one of your sales pages in a different folder.

For Clickbank, you should only have Clickbank sales buttons, otherwise your affiliates may feel shafted because if someone buys through your PP link, they don't get the credit.

So you need to keep the pages seperate.

Either on a new website, or even a new folder should do it.

    cheers

      Agreed

You can also put up a subdomain.

You could put it on another folder but if you are using CB to attract affiliates, I would delete that PP version. When I see a vendor is using multiple sales pages with different payment processors I instantly stop promoting it and so will many major CB affiliates.

Thing is though to people already can pay with PayPal once they click the "buy now" button, so isn't it kind of a moot point?

I am in this exact position. I want to use CB just for affiliates. I want to continue using PP so I have instant access to the money.

I don't see any issues with both from an affiliates point of view. If the CB link is on the index page and PP can be in a different folder there is basically zero chance any sales will be filtered away from an affiliate.

In other words a different directory.
example.com/index.html - this is your main folder/directory with one sales page
example.com/anotherfolder/index.html - this is a subfolder or subdirectory... a "different folder" with another sales page

      Does it help?

Say you want to have two copies of your sales page, one with paypal payment buttons (for ebay, general internet marketing, etc) and another sales page with clickbank buttons, does it matter which one is www.example.com/index.html and which one is put in the subdirectory folder, do all the links have to be changed for the images if they are in www.example.com/images?
