The Definitive Guide to Affiliate Link Cloaking for WordPress

I've been following fellow Warrior, Richard Moog's thread: Affiliate Link Cloaking With WordPress. I didn't want to hijack Richard's thread, but I'm looking for more definitive answers.

While the majority of the post are very helpful, several leave short responses like; "this plugin works for me," or "I like xyz plugin."

What I'm looking for is:
Why do you like about the plugin you're using;
What don't you like about others you have tried;
What tips and tricks have benefited your use of a certain plugin.
How is the plugin different than the one's you don't use;
If you tried other plugin, what didn't you like about those.

Because I'm a virgin here I think many other virgins would love to benefit from your experience.

I second Zanti. I'm in between Pretty Link and GoCodes, if anyone wants to shed light on the MAJOR differences between these two - please do share.

I'm thinking between this thread and Richard's us virgins will get the kind of information we need to make an informed decision. I know a lot of it is based on personal taste, what affiliate program you're in and other variables. But, and this is a big but, (no pun intended) I want to be as knowledgeable and informed as I can be and not follow in the trial and error mistakes fellow Warriors have made but to learn from their mistakes.
