Microsoft, please! Do the world a huge favor....

I really can't help but sigh. I am frustrated right now. I have lost my patience.
If only Microsoft Do the world a huge favor and take Internet Explorer out of existence. It has done nothing, but cause headaches for businesses and developers alike. I know others love IE and give them some benefits.
As to the users, please do yourself a huge favor and just download Chrome or Firefox. You keep fighting with something that is irreversibly broken. Solve this issue and you are faced with a mountain more. Why bother?
I am really really sorry for this rant.
I was happy for I was able to convert a client traditional site into mobile friendly site but still copying the same layout and color scheme. Everything looks good (though few things need to be enhanced) so far on Chrome, firefox, Safari, and Maxthon, but when I viewed it on IE, it's looks miserable. The images are not showing fine.
The non-responsive site is buylightedpalmtrees.com and I made a mockup here, buylightedpalmtrees.com/newsite/
I really wish I can get this sorted out.
