Whats Your Favorite Free Mind Map or Flowchart Tools & Why ?

I am using mind42 mind map, and do not care for it too much its ok till I find something better. What I do not like about it is that it does not allow me to add sub levels to a specific box I can only go wide but its ok for now.

What is your favorite free mind map or flowchart tool and one that you do not like and why ?

    I'm loving Simple Mind on my iPad - so colourful and VERY flexible. Using it on my Android phone too . . . not as many facilities on it as their free iPad version though - go figure!

    I use Xmind.

    I does alot of the same things that paid mindmaps like Mindjet do.

    It's very easy to use when first starting out and there are a lot of themes and templates on their site, and tutorials on youtube for it.

    As for flowchart software programs I am also looking for some so I am interested to see what people suggest.
