Really need motivation to get investing in tools when I am still not making anything.

  I might have to say the same. Building a relationship with my list has been soooo much easier than managing my sites with SEO. It feels like two different worlds of difficulty, seriously.

Before you go investing in anything, ask yourself why your current efforts aren't working. The worst possible investment is to throw good money after bad.

  For me it was investing in a training program which explained the whole process in terms I could understand and implement. There was also a very helpful forum and support desk.
  
  I used Chris Farrell Membership. It has paid for itself many times over.

For me it was joining the team that I recently joined.

What was big for me was not just the training, but also assignments to keep you on track, and following a proven system. Definitely worth the money of joining.

Time: the best IM investment you'll ever make.

If you're not making money (yet), don't compound the problem by losing even more money by expenditure. Invest, instead, your time. Warrior Forum is a treasure trove of information. Start out by learning free techniques and developing your skills within each. The process should be something like so:

1. Determine your passions in life.
2. Can they be monetized?
3. Research how do to so by reading this forum (and elsewhere)
4. Attempt to make money without spending money.
5. When you are making money, ask yourself this: "If I plow back some profits, will I make more?"

There are no end of tools or ebooks to spend your money on. Probably the best investment you can make, if we're talking monetary, though, is the War Room. I'm considering it myself!

Best investment you can have is to make a choice. Don't buy any info products! Make a choice to promote and publish posts on your blog everyday. All the free info out there is all you need.

Start small and build on it. You'll want to take the money that you do earn from online and invest it back into your business.

You can invest in;

Knowledge - with books, courses etc.
Hosting - You'll need this to get a blog up and running.
Domain - Invest in a good name for your site.
Autoresponder - Build that list right away, even when your site is saying "Coming Soon!".

The best course I ever bought was called Attraction Marketing Intensive, because it teaches you how to attract people and not chases them like most people do. It changed my biz no end.
