Why the mystery with EzineArticles when there's an issue?

Why can't EzineArticles just tell you what the trouble is with an error, instead of saying, Contact Us to learn more? I mean how ridiculous is that? Just say it already, and we can revise.

Or am I missing something about why we should take an extra step here?

Maybe for a newbie who's simply spamming the site with an ad and running, I might see that. But Platinum and other top level writers? That makes no sense. It's an obvious stopping block and needs a communication - -just say it.

Anyone agree with this, or am I wrong? A-OK to be wrong, just like to see the point for long timers there, I guess. There tools just bite sometimes, like this one, and it seems like they try hard to irritate submitters who help them build their site over the years.

Also, why I'm on this topic, the site form used to hold keywords so you could enter the first few letters, and your whole string would insert itself. No more, though.

Again, am I missing something? Or are we supposed to love going and staying at that site daily to post or something? I'm beging to wonder and head more and more elsewhere while these irons are in the fire and help build up other directories....

    That is a good question. I have written well over 600 articles and have platinum status but get the, "Contact Us," thing from time to time. I then follow up with an email and after 2 weeks find out it was a small problem with a simple solution ... just wish they could have said that from the start.

    I believe that Chris has mentioned a few times on the EZA blog that they are working towards providing more information (possible solutions) when problems arise with a submitted article that is being reviewed. I'm not sure when or what will be implemented but they are looking to improve the process.
