Fiverr is becoming extremely popular, so yes - it might be the competition. The first 20 sales probably are the hardest, until you get some reviews coming in. Try and offer more services so it's easier to become reputable.

Unless you are offering a unique service, it is extremely hard to crack the competition at fiverr. Even my friend who has more than 50 positive reviews is struggling to get an order a day... In most cases, there are more providers than customers.

You only put up your gig yesterday? You'll need to be a lot more patient than that. I think it took me a few weeks to get my first buyer. If you go on the Fiverr forums, that's about average.

That said, you're also new with no feedback. It's a little harder for newbies. But once the ball gets rolling, buyers will come a little easier.

Yes, there's a lot of competition. Fiverr isn't an easy way to make money. Putting up a gig and then expecting the orders to come in is very unrealistic.

Keep marketing on social networks. Make sure the people you're marketing to are the ones most likely to buy your gig.

You said you're offering beauty tips. Are most of your followers on social media women? Because I'm guessing few men will be buying your gig, or even click on it.

    Just be patient and persistant.

but for fiverr? didn't....My point is surely there are some impression but didn't have..because I just test..

Yes to get an order from Fiverr is very difficult now a days and i am really shocked about the Fiverr mechanism.
For Ex. if some one gig title design an awesome banner for your website only at $5
and he is member from 8-10 days and he has 12 ORDER IN Q
And some other seller same gig title and he is a member from last 8 months but he has 0 order .
    What is this ?

Fiverr is really popular and people are coming

out of the woodwork to create gigs.

Maybe that seller has better SEO

and will rank higher in the Fiverr search.

If the traffic can't find you then expect low sales.

      Same IM rules still apply.

It's all about standing out and offering something unique. Your gig description needs to shine. Use the tags with the right keywords to help people find your gig. Make sure your gig is in the right category (I've seen many gigs in the wrong category!).

And if you're doing graphic design, have some samples. This is very important if you're starting out and don't have any feedback to give you more credibility.

Selling on Fiverr is not easy. There's a lot of competition. It takes time, patience and a little marketing savvy.

If you do a little checking you will find "networks" created by people where they set up multiple profiles and then buy their own gigs and leave glowing feedback for themselves. If you go in writing gigs you will find that most of the gigs are part of these networks.

Yes the competition on Fiverr is getting tough, it's getting real popular. I had a gig getting 20 orders a day, it dropped to 8 a day now, I checked and saw 5 other people offering the same gig, 2 copied my image and description.

Keep promoting for a few weeks and see how it goes.

If your gig is not worth promoting it for a few weeks you should not offer it anyhow. You can not expect a result after 1 day.

I have always believed that when the competition for anything is great, the best approach is to offer something so over-the-top that your offer stands out like a sore thumb.

If you offer something no one else is offering . . . immediately your offer can't be compared with any other product or service. An if what you're offering seems like a real bargain for the money, it will be seen as the only logical choice by the prospect.

Certainly, as others have said, you must promote what you're offering and give it some time to mature in the market. But if you can get a little creative and make an offer that is totally unique and over-the-top, you will begin to get the traction you need. Combine that with outstanding customer care and nurturing and you'll have more business than you can handle.

      Good luck to you,

      Steve

Just like anywhere else, you really need to come with something new or offer more. The website have been around for a while and got over 3 million gigs.

If your gig is not unique and got hundreds of others with similar gig, the chances it will never see the light because people will tend to check those who already built a reputation on the site.

You don't have to be very innovative, small tricks, can take you long way, also the more you optimize your keyword, the higher chance your gig will popup when someone search for beauty tips

I have been a Fiverr member on two different accounts (selling the same product). Let me explain:

My first time there I created some gigs, worked hard to self-promote, became a member of the forums, and over delivered. I received my first sale within a day, and the numbers grew from there. I received an endorsement from a member of this website who used my gigs to help one of his Facebook banner sales (help his buyers tweak the template they purchased). Things were VERY BUSY for me, but real life took a turn and I had no more time and had to leave the system and everything I built.

My second time there, I have been a member for only two weeks. I have worked just as hard to create a name for myself again doing all the tricks to boost sales plus many other tricks. I have not had anywhere near the success or even the traffic at least looking. The market for graphic design is over saturated so I knew this was going to be hard. I finally got my first sale yesterday, but I worked hard for it (not just in the design, but in finding the sale and getting them on board with using Fiverr).

I think I offer beautiful graphics that are 100% fully custom and I know that there are a lot on there who are not. But what matters there do not matter in a typical situation. You have to keep working hard, tweaking your gigs to better SEO them, wait out the fact that this is probably a bad time of the year for most to purchase stuff, and self-promote. I hope to return to where I was at before I left, but I think this trip is going to be much harder!

A video did "help" me. My gig is shown of the first page near the top of my target section. It has not turned into a sale just yet, but what I am lacking is previous sales, feedback, and rating still. Before the video you scrolled forever to locate my gig. So we will see, but there was a noticeable difference in location once adding the video (which I was very proud of).

I've been using Fiverr for almost a year now and it's been a great side income for me (close to an extra 5 figures a year? yes please).

Like some people have mentioned, you need to deliver extreme value from the get-go in order to, for one, retain your first few customers, and also to increase your word-of-mouth (WOM) advertising...

After my first few sales and exceeding my customers expectations, the amount of referrals I got snowballed from there. And once you start getting more sales/positive reviews, the higher your gig shows up in the "High Rating" tab in your category, which also means more sales (woohoo!).

Currently one of my gigs is bouncing around the first four positions in the high rated tab and I've been getting around 20,000 impressions a month. So take it from someone who's generated a bit of success using Fiverr that sure the competition is strong, but as long as you're offering something unique and you can over-deliver, you'll be in good hands.

Does it matter what domain the website has because I've got some websites and blogs if you want to pick one and use it. The ones that are custom made for affiliates need to be configured on the back end. The instructions are right on the home page: NETHOMETOWN and this one just sits there looking stupid: League Tips

If you package your beauty tips into a software package that you upload to each customer's Google Drive, that would probably work. I have the software to do that and I need the practice anyway so let me know if you're interested in that. You can include PDF Reports, 3-4 Videos, Checklist they can download, another PDF with a list of what makeup to buy with your affiliate links.

You can even embed a game as a bonus like this one: Bubble Santa You can include affiliate links to deals you find like the ones on Slickdeals: The Best Deals, Coupons & Discounts on Laptops, Computers, LCDs, TVs, Dell, HP, Apple, Amazon Click on Forums and you'll find lots of deals there that people are sharing.

You need to have a good scanner on your computer like Microsoft Essentials or Microsoft Defender and SpyBot Search & Destroy at Spybot - Search & Destroy from Safer-Networking Ltd. and they're all free.

I have managed to make over 100 sales this month so far, averaging $11 per sale. My best tip for you is to ask the support team if they can promote your gig. Don't pest them, just a simple email addressing your gig which includes the link. You aren't guaranteed a promotion, but 9 times out of 10 they will comply with your request.

I think a video definitely will enhance your sales, and even be the difference between a promotion and no promotion.

The secret to Fiverr is to either get a constant stream of repeat buyers or resell the gigs. There are many people who use stuff they buy at Fiverr to enter contests or outright resell on other platforms. Another approach is to incorporate cheap Fiverr services into a larger service which you sell for a lot more money. Web developers do this a lot: they buy a logo here, content there, design tweaks here, and package it all up with their own labor and sell it for a nice mark up. The only limit to making money on Fiverr is one's imagination...

I recommend you to find what are selling the other sellers and do the same but x2. If they offer 500 words at $5 you must sell 1000 words at $5.

Yes, I know...too much work. Yes! But only the first 10 or 20 orders! after that....$5 every 400 words

If you are wondering how the Fiverr impressions work...that is a good questions. I think their stats are broken. Example I have a gig that has no impressions or clicks...but it has a sale. That doesn't make sense. Someone purchased the gig without seeing it?!? Same thing goes for my other gig. It is sitting on the first page of the results for that specific category. Yet in over a week it has had no traffic. My link has been posted in so many locations it is hard to believe that I have no had at least 1 person view to add an impression.

Point being, I believe those stats are broken. If you see nothing, contact support. I have myself but nothing has helped yet.

If you're posting it the way it is in your sig., that isn't hard to believe. All I see is "Graphic Design," other than that I have no idea about you.

You will get far more traffic by posting a linked text message. You can put your social media links in your sidebar via your profile settings. Online real estate is a premium. Don't waste it.

Instead of putting your time and effort into something you can't even track, why not spend the $10 a month and build your own site. Drive traffic to it. If you are serious and committed you won't last long on Fiverr as it's slave wages and ignorant unreasonable customers.

Every time you send a visitor that doesn't order from you, Fiverr gets a free visitor, on you. And they don't even bother to say thanks.

          True.

I offer a unique service that has plenty of buyers, but comp is low. I say low, there's a seller who offers the same service. He/she keeps increasing the amount whenever I increase mine... so I just give up on that tactic! Best to setup your own site and not pay Fiverr the 20%.

You can do well by selling extras (i.e. $10, $15, etc), but working at Fiverr is a race to the bottom, IMO. Plus the dollar is weakening, and the amount I get, after adjustments, is dire.

Thanks! I am already building a website devoted to that. This is a different arena for me then my typical freelance. I have had good success and a good experience myself with Fiverr (so far at least). Being serious and committed in my first time through that website I was making quite a bit of extra income and was happy. Again so far nothing but good to say. I get the "build your own site"...but again to me, these worlds are very different. In my typical freelance world I am responding to a different demo then I am in the Fiverr world. I promote myself different and reach out differently. I am still creating a website devoted to the Fiverr world that I am building (something to showcase the multiple social links and portfolio). To me (so far in my past experience and so far today) I love the Fiverr system. I received 4 new orders today and 3 new people asking questions. It was a good day as I have not had any sales a few days ago.

I'd second building your own site...to promote your Fiverr gig page. Start a free blog you can use to build traffic to your microjob, where your 'affiliate link' is your Fiverr sales funnel.

Basically that's what Fiverr achieved---making a delivery back end and price point as simple for services you personally provide, as it has been for traditional affiliate products. But by promoting through your own blog, you can always switch the sales funnel back end if Fiverr fails, without wasting all the traffic built for your freelancing.

Basically, competition is max. People should get traffic from other sources. That said, FIVERR will give you a lot of exposure. Here is an idea for you. Post some videos on you tube to get gigs. This method is a proven winner. Videos on landing pages increase average page conversion. I am using that method myself now. All the best to you. Have a happy prosperous new year.

Maybe I'm just damn lucky but I seem to be cursed with an OVERABUNDANCE of customers whenever I play around with a gig.

It's really REALLY frustrating to be slammed with customers.

    Just my $.02

But you want the real truth?

Fiverr is kind of like slavery.

RogueOne mentioned that there's an abundance of annoying customers...

    He's right.

People expect the WORLD for $5. - Would you rather have 500 annoying clients, or 5 cool ones?

It reminds me of people that go into a Fastfood joint and start barking out orders at the poor guy making $7 an hour.

Some people have no class, regardless of how "well off" they are.

    Just my $.02

You mentioned that you are not getting any traffic to your gig. For this you need to understand how fiverr ranks your gig. Consider these:

Does your gig have a video?
How long is your gig description? Fiverr prefers gig descriptions less than 50 characters.
Does your image of your gig stand out compared to other gig?
Are you targeting the right keywords?
Also make your gig "express" to have more exposure.

If that still doesnt work, and you want to go the blackhat/greyhat way. Lookup some fiverr review exchange groups on facebook.

    Goodluck!

Like eBay, Fiverr has strong and fierce competition. Eventually people start to price each other out, so prices become lower and lower until no money is to be made. But I guess the only way around this is to have strong reviews and people will gladly pay more than your competitors.
