main landing page CTA help.

Hello guys,

I am currently building a insurance niche website that brands myself as a professional. The goal of the website is to lead gen so follow up calls can be made and offer a quotes over the phone, but to find information and learn online.

My marketing plans are
postcards/email/coldcall/ppc to a targeted niche. each postcard or email will have it's own landing page for that specific market. It will have the actual quote form for that niche.

Now for the main website, should i make a quote form or a schedule a consultation form. Either one would require me to call the client to qualify and get enough info to quote.

Not sure how i should approach the main landing page, whether to have them put in email/phone or generic quote form.

What is the best thing to do for the main page?

Thanks.

You want as many qualified people on the phone.

Somebody responds to your postcard, goes to your site and fills out a SHORT form.

    That is all you want.

If you make it too complicated you will get very little response.

Make it easy for your visitor to contact you and then you follow up. If they are a waste of time you will know pretty fast.

Agreed, you can also use this process to run CPA campaigns vs just PPC so you get a better ROI on your online ad buys.

I am more than happy to help with a CPA/PPC campaign on our network. Insurance has been performing well on our network lately.

i think the general rule is too be less than 7 entries for the forms?

it doesn't matter that when people get the post card, it actually goes to a different landing page?

I have it set up that each link on email or postcard link goes to a specific landing page.

The general rule is: As little entries as possible.
7 entries is way too much.

You need email, name and phone. Many other things are nice
but you will have less people to talk to.

You can get the location through the IP (free and paid solutions for that available).

I will agree as well. I have a lot of landing pages and all i want is either a phone number or email. if you are running a CPA campaign it will be up to whatever the advertiser wants of course. the shorter the form the better

I'm interested to hear more about your results when you nail down your campaign and get it going. I've worked in the exact market you're talking about here and I've tried a couple of similar campaigns with really poor results.

Wish I could offer you some specific advice but I can't really say what went wrong with my campaigns. I suspect it was my list because the I had no traffic come to the URL's I set up specifically for the mailers I sent. So I guess if I have one piece of advice it would be to make sure your list is a great one. Also, follow the advice given above to keep your form short.
