hey
I have two domains, one i use and one i dont as of now. I previously had a 302 temporary redirect on the site not being used that pointed to the one being used. I asked about this on here a couple of days ago and was told to change it to a 301 permanent redirect, which i did. But, have a question, is there anyway, seeing as there is nothing on that site, that someone could hack into it more easily? I am a little paranoid about hacking and spamming after my used site was hacked and a fellow warrior came and helped me out (thanks netman!) So should i do anything to this site to ensure that it doesnt get hacked? Thanks! Ashley |

If it's just a 301 redirect, then the answer is no.. you're no more vulnerable to being hacked than you were using a 302 redirect. In fact, you're redirecting all traffic away from that site automatically, so your chances of that site being hacked are virtually zero (excluding any security holes in the server itself, of course, but those would be beyond your control away).
