OK so basically i'm from the UK and I have a problem. I'm in the process of making a couple of niche sites with affiliate banners on them but I need to get a host. Now heres the problem. I want to host at hostgator (US Company) but on Commission Junction, they say that if you reside outside US, you cant have any services running in the US i.e servers, domains etc so what should I do now because I prefer hostgator as its reliable and UK hosting isnt that known so I cant trust it. Any ideas or tips?

Why don't you ask Hostgator if they will host you. Even though they are US based.

I live in the UK and have had a reseller account (I'm not suggesting you get a reseller account) with Heart Internet for years now. I have had absolutely no problems with them. I can highly recommend thier sevice, and their security is rock solid, as is thier customer service. I also have a reseller account with Hostgator and I have had a few problems with them over the years - down time, security issues, server glitches etc.

Basically - take your pick. I'm a web developer and marketer and host dozens of websites with both services.

Please note: - The above link is NOT an affiliate link.

Could you point to or quote the specific clause in CJ's TOS where this is stipulated, or are you referring to an advertiser that's using CJ's network?

use sharasale affiliate network, with nearly 4,000 merchants to promote, you should be able to find something relevant in your niche. Or Europe based TradeDoubler another good network
