Web hosting question...

Hi,

I have GoDaddy Deluxe web hosting, which allows for 25 databases (such as Wordpress sites) to be hosted. I currently have 3 databases set up (3 Wordpress sites).

I'm about to launch a new website and was therefore wondering: should I buy more hosting or just set up a new folder on my existing hosting and point the domain at that directory, as I have with my other sites?

I don't want to pay unnecessarily, but also don't want to harm my sites performance.

Will having multiple Wordpress ties hosted on the same GoDaddy Deluxe hosting account slow down the performance of my sites?

    Just set the websites up in the same account. If your site gets enough traffic to slow down their server, they will tell you that you need to upgrade. There's no point in doing it before that

    Not that I necessarily want to rehash everyone else's answer...

    Yes, create a new folder and database, and you should be good to go.

    Here's one thing to think about though... If you are planning on linking your sites together, you may want to consider a different host. If they are somewhat unrelated sites, and you have no intention of interlinking between the sites, you are good.

    Hey man I have same account on Godaddy as yours and I am having 4 WordPress websites running currently without any issues.
    All the sites load up pretty fast and working well.

    So go for it and don't pay extra money for hosting.
