Hey guys.

Ive just applied for the Payoneer card because I am part of the Amazon Affiliate Program, and since I don't live in the USA my only other choice of receiving payments is check (gift cards don't appeal to me) and it takes ages for the check to arrive, if it ever arrives that is.

So, anyone here using Payoneer to collect their earnings? If so, I would appreciate if you told me how that's going for you at the moment. I did some research and I notice that Amazon require Bank Name along with routing number and all other details. Do Payoneer provide the Bank Name as well as all the other details?

Thanks in advance guys.

I am particularly interested in whether they provide the bank name or not. Do you know if they do that?

Yes they give you bank name, number and all the other info you need, when you are approved.

Dont know if their approval time is faster these days, but when I applied it took a few weeks.

I tried Payoneer but didn't like it at all. There were so many charges. Something along the lines of $30 a year just to maintain the account; 1% fee of each payment received; when a transaction is made as a foreign transaction or is requested in a currency other than USD, charges of up to 3% apply; $3.15 fee every time you withdraw from a cash point, and even a $1.00 fee to check your balance at a cash point. If you want to use your Payoneer card like a normal debit card then think again.

I could look past all that (probably not though) if it wasnt for the fact that you are unable to transfer the money from your Payoneer account into your actual bank account. A HUGE dealbreaker for me. This was around 6 months ago though, so things may have changed. I'm sure commission would be charged for this though anyway.

I'm happy enough to wait a bit longer for a cheque to arrive and then pay £12 to cash that cheque. This is substantially cheaper - I mean, say that you make $5,000-10,000 per month from Amazon, just receiving that payment will cost you $50-$100, before you even get a chance to withdraw the money and pay commission on top of that (if this is even possible).

I know Payoneer is useful for some people under certain circumstances, but if you can afford to wait a week or two for a cheque to arrive then it's a no-brainer what you should do.

My main issue with Amazon is that they issue the checks 60 days prior to when you earn them, and from then you have to wait up to another 60 days for the cheque to arrive to your place. That's 4 months for you to get the cheque, and that's a big IF you get it. If it doesn't reach you the first time they reissue it for you and that's a 6 month wait for one cheque.

In my book of business this is not feasible at all. I earn XXX for this month I want it as soon as possible, not 4-6 months from today.

Thanks for all the replies guys!

Not all can receive their monies through check.

The postal system in some countries is atrocious and your checks may get lost or even stolen and cashed.

Thats why many use payoneer. Better safe than sorry

    Hi there,
The Payoneer Card is actually pretty good, it provides a Checking Account, all the technical details are provided to produce a payment solution for non-USA Amazon sellers-I have been using it for a year and it is not too bad-Yes there are some charges, but what banking solution does not have charges? Also, you can arrange to have payments transferred to your local bank account over a certain amount. Even PayPal has charges, it depends what you want, but Yep, as an Australian Amazon seller it works for me.

I used payoneer card for amazon and peerfly without any problem in transactions but I didn't like the expensive maintenance fee so I changed back to receiving checks... Another thing is, there is a very expensive charge for every ATM transaction if you use payoner to withdraw the funds in your local ATM. Use only payoneer to buy something online.... The last fund I had in my payoneer card was around $85 and I used all funds to buy books online.

Thanks for mentioning Payoneer as a payment solution for Amazon.

In addition to the details provided above, I wanted to add that we just recently introduced a new service that allows you to withdraw your Payoneer card balance directly to your local bank account. We support withdrawal to more than 200 countries, in over 50 currencies.

It's a new service that is slowly being rolled out to more account holders, so if you don't have it available yet you should see it available in the near future. If you have an active Payoneer account and are interested in trying the service, let me know and I'll be happy to get you started.

If you are working with a company that pays with Payoneer and offers our Global Bank Transfer Service, you can use Payoneer to receive your payments to your local bank account in India.

Unfortunately the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has prohibited non-Indian companies from issuing cards to Indian residents, so we are unable to provide Indian residents with a Payoneer card.

The US Payment Service is a collection account, that only supports receiving funds. All funds received to the USPS are funded to your Payoneer account.

You can access your Payoneer account balance with your Prepaid Debit MasterCard - which can be used online, in stores, and at ATMs worldwide. You can add this card to Amazon and use it to make purchases.

Payoneer charges are too high and the exchange rate is similar to airport rates. Not a great solution IMHO.

Payoneer provides your bank name, checking details, routing number etc.

Paxum is also a great option to add to your alternative paying methods.
