Amazon Prerequisites

I finished my the beginning stages of my site. It has 7 articles/reviews, and I am about to remove the maintenance mode plugin and allow it to be publicly viewed.

I however have not yet SEO'd any of the pages for google or made a sitemap yet.

Does amazon require any of this? I dont want to be denied an associate account before I even start. How thorough is their screening process?

    No, AA doesn't need any of this (as far as I know).

    I started off my Associates account with zero posts. I only added reviews after getting my account approved.
