Hello,

I have a friend who doesn't have good knowledge of English, but he wants to work online under me..

What he can do is copy-paste only...

Is there any work based on copy-paste?

Well, I will be available to help him..

So what I'm thinking of giving any work based on copy from the web and paste in a website..

But I don't have any clear plan when it comes to earning.

Please let me know.

Thanks

I don't think earning from internet is that much easy.

Some people do sell copy and paste programs [they just claim that its copy and paste stuff but in fact its not] So you need to be aware of it that such systems are more likely to be a crap one, better not to spend any money on it.

If you don't have a clear plan of how you are going to make money online, how are you going to employ someone else to help you? It seems to me you've got to figure out what you're going to do first.

There was one WF member who approached me for doing a copy/paste job, but it pays SUPER-low and it's boring - two things that immediately turn me away from any job.

It might still be open, but I don't think so.

Why not take some time and learn some skills, It is not that difficult. He could probably be turning out wordpress sites in a few months (just an example)

Well, I will be available with the person to provide direction, but I need any copy-paste related system.

It may be posting Amazon products in Wordpress..
    Ezine articles....
    Image posting

Or creating a Wordpress blog based on images etc...

I need clear direction into this if you are successful to any method where you need to use very little mind power.

You cannot expect anything so easy to earn money online. Go for captcha entry work if you are looking for easy work which is available mostly in Freelancer.com.

You should definitely disqualify yourself from mentoring the poor guy (and there is no shame in that; there is shame in misleading him). If he is waiting for you to tell him what to do, and the best you can offer is to come here and post such a naive question, he is in for a very long wait before he can make money, since his mentor has to figure it out first.

Any ethical mentor that knows anything is going to tell him immediately to either upgrade his skill set, or look for a regular job. The answer is no, there are no more money making opportunities for someone with no online skills beyond how to copy and paste than there are for people who just know how to turn the computer on or open an email. Almost every computer owner has more skills than your friend.

Now perhaps your ego will be tempted to go back and tell him that, maintaining the illusion of your expertise, but if that is the level of guidance you offer, you are only slowing him down by not referring him to a real guide that would have answered the question immediately without having to ask and get back to him later with a second party answer the "guide" only hopes is correct.

What does "work online under me", mean to you anyway, and what on Earth gave your friend the impression you were someone he should "work under"? I suspect he is simply feeling lost because of the language issue, and you speak English, which gives him some measure of comfort, and he is hoping for guidance. Him wanting to "work under" you probably feeds your ego, but you do him a disservice by allowing him the false comfort of having an expert guide who isn't really an expert.

He didn't say he was a mentor. "Work online under me" doesn't really even make sense in English. It certainly doesn't mean "mentor."

OP, I don't necessarily recommend it. But there are many jobs like this at Amazon Mechanical Turk. They are not all exactly copying and pasting, though. And they do tend to pay really low.

Thanks for clarifying that. Nonetheless, I think he said something about "being there to guide him", which implies something similar, though not quite the same. I still say he'd be doing the guy a disservice by not disqualifying himself as guide.

I don't think copy-paste work is probably the laziest way to earn money online. Won't do your friend any good in the long run.

Well, I work online and my earning source is selling domain name and Amazon... I started earning from Amazon and I'm too confident to it, but my earning is lower than expected... I write content/reviews for Amazon products...... so it is based on writing......

If you have tested any system where you are doing copy-paste Amazon product and you are able to sell products, I want to know of this..

Other thing in my mind is, I have Adsense account for Blogger, can I copy content from article directories and post into my blogger?

Few years back, I was running auto blog and I had good success with it, but now it is not much effective....

Well, since he doesn't know English, there isn't much you can do I guess. If he has a decent typing speed, you can get him data entry jobs from sites like Odesk, freelancer and Elance. Most of the jobs pay per hour, so you can make a decent income from one contract.

That's all I can think of right now. Does he have a good command of your native language? You can get him some writing work in your language, if that's the case. Contact a couple of websites that have articles in your language, and offer content.

    Good luck!

I've been doing online work for 5 years now. I've observed people come and go and people who have been successful with it.

I must say that the most essential skill to have is the ability to speak English. I believe it is a fundamental skill especially in this industry that operates on a global scale.

Why not teach him that one first? You will be helping him build a good career ahead.

    As the famous Proverb goes,

"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."
