Ever been suspended from Ezinearticles?

I am a complete newb. I've officially been bum marketing for about 2 weeks now with high hopes of eventually turning IM into a career. I know that bum marketing is the tip of the ice berg, but since I'm broke as a joke that's where I have to start. I've been lurking around the Warrior Forum for a while, gathering what sage advice I can and learning as much as my frustrated brain can contain. Apparently I have much yet to learn.

So here are the questions:

Have you ever been suspended from Ezinearticles?
I've had a few articles published with them already. I was surprised to find my account suspended today for plagerism of . . . get this . . . MY OWN WORK. *frustration*

I used to spin articles a while back before I would submit them, but I read a forum post saying that you don't have to. . . so I stopped doing it. Now I'm a bit confused.

I've written an email to Ezinearticles staff asking them about the suspension. I guess if they don't unsuspend me I'll just have to open a new account (if that's possible) and just spin all of my articles.

Second question:
Can you even have a successful bum marketing campaign without Ezinearticles? I've noticed that 95% of my traffic is generated from Ezinearticles alone. After submitting to several other blogs and article directories . . . it just feels like the only way to generate a decent amount of traffic is through Ezinearticles.

Third question:
Is it worth having a Blogger account? It really ticks me off that I can't see the stats of people visiting it. I know that for bum marketing some people use Blogger as their landing page. I personally use Squidoo. I was wondering if there is even a point at all of having a Blogger account since I don't use it as my landing page.

I apologize in advance if my questions seem super newbish. They seem that way, because they are. Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

    1. Yes. One of the first articles I ever submitted was written for me by somebody at DP (don't laugh). I got suspended for submitting a duplicate article...so I talked to somebody at EZA and he said "ok, just don't do it again" and that was that

    2. Yes. Check out this free WSO from Angela Edwards which covers a bit on why Goarticles is better than EZA and how to use your Goarticles articles (haha) along with her backlinks to make piles of cash.

    3. No, not if you will never use it. I like Squidoo as well. Back to my answer for #2, Goarticles actually allows affiliate links in your articles, so there's one aspect in which Goarticles is better than EZA.

Thanks bunches, Curtis. I really appreciate your response. Today has probably been the peak of my frustration since I started doing bum marketing. Your advice has calmed my nerves down quite a bit.

Hopefully Ezinearticles will unsuspend me, that has yet to be seen though. I guess I'll be spinning articles for them from here on out. I actually like writting articles, spinning them . . . not so much. Oh well, the traffic Ezine brings has impressed me compared to other methods.

I've also been using GoArticles since I started bum marketing, though for some reason I don't get even a fraction of the views from GoArticles that I do for Ezinearticles. I think I do a pretty good job of picking long tail keywords too. I definitely agree that GoArticles is MUCH more affiliate friendly. I wish all article sites were like that.

And thank you so much for the info on Blogger. I've been getting a bad feeling about it since I started using it. Now I feel a lot more comfortable dropping it and focusing more on my Squidoo lenses.

Once again, thanks tons. And I will definitely check out Angela Edwards.

You're very welcome! There's no need to pull your hair out

By the way, I totally meant to post the link to the WSO, but it skipped my mind.

    Here it is:

P.S. I've had a blogger account for well over a year now which I've never used. No biggie.

P.P.S. Goarticles doesn't have the awesome tracking abilities that EZA has. It has views, but no stats for clicks (or that other stuff) if memory serves.
