What Domain Would you Choose of These?

What would you guys pick for a this site domain:

Home page keyword/name of site based on keyword = 5 words "how to "blank" "blank" "blank") ex "how to create a website"

Would you name your site (using example):

"how-to-create-a-website.com" (full keyphrase, EMD) (i believe exact keywords in domain still help a tiny bit over non keyword domains) (but its 5 words which is long)

"2createawebsite" (no hyphens but has a number in it then words) (partial keywords in domain)

"create-a-website" (all words, shorter but domain "createawebsite" exists)

I wish we could say **** hyphens and numbers all together here. It's a tough choice. 2createawebsite is more memorable for the average joe/jane however.

There are many hyphenated sites that are ranking, and google ignores the hyphen so they dont really need to all be fcked

Why not just throw your main 1 or 2 keywords in the domain and avoid the rest..JoeCreatesWebsites.com

I would go with "none of the above" option if there was one.

Why bother telling you that EMDs don't hold muster in Google anymore. Just register any old crap you want to because you do seem to ignore all advice given to you on domain names. You couldn't give me any of those domain names.

I dont believe that they dont hold muster anymore. Most experts seem to still choose them for a reason if there available. Im also pretty sure they help seo through anchor texts. I take the advice on these forums with a grain of salt, like everything 80% of people here will be the blind leading the blind.

Then why waste your time and other peoples' time asking? Doesn't that seem rather stupid?

No. Most marketers who don't keep up to date with the latest Google algo updates and refuse to change with the flow register them. But proceed ... why do you keep asking for advice on crappy EMDs when you've already got all the answers from the "experts?"

I'm with most of the other repliers...given the above options, I'd go with the 2createawebsite choice. It's way more user friendly as well, as I'd never-remember-to-put-hyphens-into-the-url-every-time-I-wanted-to-visit-it and would often end up at a competitor's website that didn't have the hyphens (simply by mistake).
