Internet Marketing Education in College/University ?

Hey all,

This question just came up in my mind and I was wondering, besides all the programs which teaches IM online, is there a course / training or education in colleges or university about Internet Marketing where you get a "degree" of Internet Marketing or something like that.. like there is education of offline business commerce, finance and all that.. is there a course that teaches Internet Marketing in collages and university ? if so then what it is called ? I'm asking because I'm insanely interested in Internet Marketing.. and by Internet Marketing I don't mean offline marketing and I mean selling ONLY digital products and not physical products on the internet.. if there is such a course in colleges or universities I'll go surely go for that because I love to learn IM.

    There probably will be degrees for college in IM but honestly, if you think about it, it's a waste of money.

    You can find so much knowledge for free on the internet. (Google/YouTube/Udemy/ETC)

    Don't waste your time getting an IM degree, self-learning and doing things hands on in internet marketing will make you better off!

      Well said, i actually got "ripped off" buying a IM Certification through a well done legit looking website.

      Once paid the only thing the member website was offering was major guidelines of each subject and not actually going in depth through each subject.


      I would say become a member of the private section on here and you will skyrocket your knowledge in no time.

    Depends on who is teaching.

    If it's like most other professors for most other subjects, they have no real life experience.

    So in the case of marketing online, or dare I say actually making money online, you don't want to learn from some dbag professor who only makes money dictating from some textbook written by people who make money writing textbooks only.

    Do your due diligence.

    The best teacher in internet marketing is your own personal experience and the experience of someone who's been down the same path as you and achieved success.

    From what I've heard, the War Room is ten times valuable as any ol' IM college course, for a hundredth of a percent of the cost.

    If teachers in those colleges and universities are the same people who are making hundreds of thousands doing IM here, I believe that IM course is effective. But if not, better learn from experts here in WF...

    College kids fresh out school with fancy degrees looking to "work for the man" and climb the corporate ladder won't ever come close to guys who actually put food on their tables in this business with their own money on the line.

    Just like graduates end up working for very succesful business owners who actually dropped out of school or didn't even give a damn about pursuing their careers but actually making money.

    There will just never be the same ammount of motivation to just do 9 to 5 and punch the clock out than knowing you won't get to pay the bills if you don't work your ass off to make enough money.

    Been both sides of the coin and don't really wanna go back to a college/9 to 5 (more like 9 to 9 actually) ever again, no way Jose lol.

    Honestly even business administration degrees won't really teach you how to start a sucessful business on your own. You may only aspire to work for one some day after a several years and dollars spent.

    I know Full Sail do offer that but then again there's also plenty of colleges/uni offering that. Just do a search on 'internet marketing degree' and you can see some of the schools offering that as a course.
