My thread was deleted...why?

Can a moderator please PM me and let me know why my thread was deleted? I was simply asking for a critique of a site.

Just study the forum rules and compare them to what you did.

They can be found on the top of each forum and the main rules are here:

Wrong place for that - and don't be such a demanding little drama queen - read the forum rules next time before you post

Demanding little drama queen? I simply asked why the thread was deleted so that I could understand what I did wrong. How is that being a "demanding drama queen"?

I got that my question was posted in the wrong forum, but there's absolutely no need for you to start off the morning with name calling. Wake up on the wrong side of the bed, did we?

1st of all, I ALWAYS wake up on the wrong side of the bed, it's nothing personal - just a lack of caffeine

2nd, you did more or less demand the mods IM you to explain what's already written CLEARLY in the forum rules....

Asking for a site critique in the main discussion forum is not allowed.

If you need the ACTUAL website design elements and NOT the sales copy critiqued then post it in the website design forum.

If you need help with your sales copy and with conversions, post it in the copywriting forum.

If your post is just a one-liner or appears to be too self-promotional your post will get deleted.

The moderators deal with dozens of issues every single day, they simply do not have the time to PM / contact everyone who breaks the rules. In the past when they used to do this (when the forum wasn't so big) and people would want to argue their case why they weren't breaking the rules.

It's not because the mods don't necessarily want to, it's simply not the best use of their time; many have their own businesses to run. If they contacted everyone who broke the rules, they would have little time to actually do any moderating.

More of this is explained here:

I hope this sheds some light on the matter.
