How to get clients for freelancing job?

Hii,we are a group of writers and we have all worked for companies in the past that worked with international clients.Now we want to start our own freelancing buisness.Can you guys(freelancers) tell me about your experience about getting clients .Is it possible to get someone here ?If so,how?And also let me know how you guys sort out the payment process and what services you use.Thanks

    Does your firm have its own website, and blog? Create a list-building freebie for potential customers to go there as well.

    Then network with the kinds of clients you'd like to have - maybe in LinkedIn groups?

    Instead of having your first post as asking for help, I would recommend you read some of the useful threads here and learn more about how to achieve what you want. There are lots of threads that already answer your question so if you take the time and effort to read them, you'll learn how to do what you want.
