HostGator is time for Divorce!

Too many problems. 504 Gateway Time-out.
Server not responding etc. So what is as good
as HG once was? Liquidweb? or what do you
use who has decent traffic?

    I hear ya! Divorced them myself a couple of months ago.

    I'm finding Veerotech to be a comfortable fit.

    I tried creating an account with HostGator during the 1 hour black friday 75% sale. I received the 503 service unavailable. I tried a couple more time during one of the other 1 hour windows, same thing. A few days later, my credit card was charged 3 times for the same plan. It took almost 4 weeks, multiple phone calls, chat sessions, online tickets for them to refund my credit card and cancel my account. Their customer service demonstrated incompetence. I am very dissatisfied with HostGator.

      Not cool. Sad to see a ownership shift cause such impact.
      HG was once super in support and a reliable host. Not anymore.
