Expired PR domains

Hello all,

Hope you all had a great xmas and wishing you a prosperous new year.

I have a question regarding pr domains

If I were to purchase an expired pr 3 domain which is proper and not fake BUT ahref or majestic seo does not show backlinks, what does this actually mean??? Should I be purchasing the domain

    If there are no good quality backlinks there is really no point in buying it unless you really want the domain name. High PR means nothing by itself. If you want a domain to develop or for link juice pointing to a money site you should look for one with quality backlinks, age, good domain authority, and high PR. High PR is nice to see but is minor compared to the other things.

    The reason we buy High PR domains is that there are quality backlinks warranting that High PR domain.
    If there aren't backlinks, then the domain is likely to lose it's High PR.
    I would suggest you to stay away from it.
