What's Your Plan for 2014?

Hi fellow Warriors!

I'd love to hear the Top 3 things you're focusing on for 2014.

I did some extensive planning during the last week of 2013 and I'm starting to realize that simplicity really is key.

So in 2014, I'm getting laser focused on the high-leverage activities in our business...

1. Facebook Ads (Excellent, affordable source of perpetual traffic right now)
2. Product Creation (We always make the most money from releasing our own products.)
3. Testing & Tracking ( When you know the numbers in your business, you have MUCH greater clarity.)

It creates an incredible sense of control because you know exactly what's working and what's not working.

While the majority of marketers are flying blind. They have no idea which traffic sources are converting subscribers into sales. We create a tracking link for EACH of our different traffic sources. But in 2014, I also plan to do a LOT more split-testing as well.

What are your Top 3 focuses for 2014?

Cheers,

Kim

    1. Focus more on paid traffic, increase conversions.

    2. Outsource some sections of the business that take up too much of my time, like technical work, graphics among others.

    3. Reorganize the business to become a real asset that can be sold. There comes a time when a significantly long break is needed and what a better way to take it than by cashing in the business? When it's too mangled up (like properties registered in different names), it can be difficult to let it go at a substantial price.

Great Post! My 3 main focuses right now are:

    1. Continue to build a highly responsive list

    2. Focus on strategies to monetize my list and get involved with selling quality solo ads.

    3. Stay focused on the first two goals (a problem that I have had in the past is getting side-tracked by the latest "shiny objects" !)

I agree, Kim, that focus and simplicity are keys. I'm doing my best to stay focused within the Kindle niche. Within that, I have several things going at once, at the forefront being my own Kindle business which I'm growing with a partner/investor.

I look forward to scaling in 2014 to be able to reinvest.

I only have 2 ultimate goals.

    1. improve my 2 clickbank authority sites
    2. finish 2 fiction novels for kindle

My authority sites are already making enough but I want to improve both sites to optimize the reach and earnings.

I have no plan to try another "shining object" and even not dare to register any new domain.

That is great! Our plan is to work on:

Product Creation: We have a solid product but look to make it better and more user friendly for those who do not have a lot of experience in IM.
Lead Gen: We are also work a lot with FB ads to generate leads of our target market. We have had great success with this previously and look to continue doing what works.

    Good question Kim..

Well the most important thing l need to do is settle with my ex wife... ouch... needs to be done...

Once that is all done, l can go ahead and start living my life... not that l am not doing that already...

Build my business too the next level, it is well on its way, had to keep it off the record for the above reason... sorry, donated enough to that charity already..

Travel much more this year is one of my plans, want to spend a month or so in Europe, then head to the far East for perhaps another month or so...take in the sites, learn their culture and just enjoy how the half live..

Pretty much what l like to focus on this year...

There are many high aims being given here. I wish you all the best at achieving them.

Personally, I like to think in terms of goals as being the top level. Then for each goal there is an action plan. Otherwise, the goal is like a nice destination with no road to get there.

For example, if my goal is to double business this year, I need a plan for how to do it. The plan consists of the actual steps I'm going to take to reach the goal. Otherwise, the goal is just a pipe dream.

My goals for this year are as follows:
    1) Gain and maintain five personal coaching clients.
    2) Gain and maintain 25 group coaching clients.
    3) Finish writing and publish my book.

For each of those goals I am making a plan that consists of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly actions to reach each goal.

I didn't give specifics aside from my major definite purpose for 2014 bc it's nobody's business in here as to exactly how I go about achieving my intended result.

      But I will achieve it.

I know your reply wasn't aimed at anyone in particular, but I feel like addressing your comment anyway.

I understand. I was mostly speaking from experience and attempting to help other people avoid my past mistake of setting goals with no means to reach them.

It's easy to make a list of goals for the year. It's hard to break those goals down into daily actions. Hardly anyone talks about that reduction process, so I just wanted point out that there's more to it than simply making a list.

        Best to you!

          Yeah i hear you.

I personally don't break my goals down into daily actions.

I focus on a number i want to hit for the month, meditate on it, speak about it out loud every morning in the form of a definiteness of purpose autosuggestion followed by speaking out loud napoleon hill's self confidence formula.

It's served me very well since I started doing it in Dec 2012.

No daily goals, but specific daily autosuggestion.

Saw massive growth in my business and put myself in the position to not need to work for anyone else ever again - which I haven't for 6 months now.

My outcome is to get to $50,000/month before I turn 23 which is Nov 2014. I want to help as many people get to the same status as well as I'm doing my thing. Then by Oct of next year, I plan go back to the Philippines and visit home. I lived there for 13 years. I want to speak at my school and encourage the kids to follow their dreams. :-) I want to give back to that country. The Philippines has been very good to me and I think it's best I help it out and open some eyes there. That's the outcome I'd like. The reason why I say outcome instead of goal is because with goals, just like a soccer player, sometimes we hit, sometimes we miss. With an outcome, we're extremely specific focusing on the outcome making it sound like it's going to happen because it will. :-)
