What Traffic Method Works The Best for You?

Ok,

There is:

- Article marketing
- Forum posting
- Making a blog farm or some sort of personal network
- Well natural SEO is a must. PPC I can't afford.
- Directory submission
- Blog commenting
- Manual one way linking to different websites that are related to yours
- Etc..

Which way has worked best for you? Even if it's not on this list please share.

Search engine traffic + blog personal network.

I put all my efforts in these ones and nothing else.

SEO, Social Media (specifically Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube...the holy Trinity), Blogging.

Of course, PPC and specifically Adwords are King. In my opinion.

You should try many of the methods online and then track which one performs best for you.

This is simply part of the testing process you should go through to find out where you should focus your efforts.

Adding content - unique good quality content is always recommended.

Article writig, forum postings are good at generating traffic. But, the best appears to be PPC like Adwords. But, then it's not FREE.

Blackhat method is the best. Risky but worth it if you know how to use it properly. There are plenty of ways to get traffic as long you're willing to get your hands dirty. Another fast way is by using Pinger such as Digg, Technoratti, StumbleUpon. Great tools.

You need to take alook again at your model...

All of these takes time to materialise.

This is a business and you will see meaningful results as time goes on

I concentrate my efforts on article marketing, press releases and video marketing which is the way of the future. I mean everyone who is successful online is using video to get their message across.

I am also building a nice network of links to my main websites through what I call minisites such as squidoo, hubpages and wetpaint and also using free services such as blogger and wordpress. I try and update these pages with valuable information. This improves the value of the backlink that I get from them.

It depends on the site I'm promoting...

For sites where I'm selling my own products:
forum posting
giveaway events
email list
one-way backlinking service
article marketing
video marketing
PPC

For sites where I'm selling products as an affiliate:
social marketing
one-way backlinking service
article marketing
RSS feed submission
directory submission
PPC

I tend to more actively promote my own products and view affiliate products more as a way to earn passive income, so I want it to be as automated as possible.

Most of my traffic comes from SEO and twitter hehe,

and its only a blogspot, using a keyword with 20 mill, end up at the 3rd page.

As far as I know, blog commentings works well rather than other methods. But it is very hard to find DOFOLLOW related niche blogs. It is a real headache, However, If you can get them, that would be a golden egg for your site promotion works. On other hand, If you can exchange signature on forums, that too will be helpful. As well as submitting your articles specially to ezine.com, articlerich.com, goarticles.com and articleblast.com are more helpful. Check them out......I am sure, these are more than enough to get traffic via any search engines.....
