Launch Funnel Question About OP 2.0

I'm setting up a launch funnel with OP 2.0 but I'm doing an internal launch to my list and don't want a normal squeeze page for the first piece of content but instead I'm offering them content and ask for an opt-in to notify them when the next piece is available.
However, when I set up the funnel stage #1 it requires both a "landing page" and "value page". How do I set it up for everything to work properly? If I enter the thank you page after opting in that will break the launch funnel menu because OP will recognize the thank you page as the value page.
Anyone know how to get around this?
