Leveraging an article

G'day - I posted an article on my blog titled "If you run you NEED to read this" and its popularity has far exceeded anything else I've yet written. Its been posted on my social networking sites., how else can I ride its momentum?

PS - if you are interested in reading the article yourself you can find it here: WARNING: Get fit to run, DO NOT run to get fit! | CoachFoulds.com

    hi Steve,
I couldn't understand what actually you are talking about. If you want to get more sales so make a professional and informative video and upload it on youtube dot com and in description give your product link on the above of description and try to build back links.

Hi Steve, you could promote your article on Facebook using the facebook advertising and you can also post the article on related groups in Facebook. You could create explanatory video and post it to the Video sharing site

    Hi Steve,

Perhaps you can have an optin form at the bottom of the article for more tips, etc.

You can then market to this list with products, even ones you are an affiliate of.

    I second Chris's idea

Since you're using Wordpress there's a really handy plugin called Magic Action Box that you can use to add a professional looking opt in form to the bottom of the article.

What I like about this plugin is that you can place a different opt in box below every article if you'd like and add a graphic of say the ebook you're offering to encourage the opt in. This can be a completely different opt in box to the one you currently have in the side bar and could possibly get more opt ins since it flows directly from (or within) the actual article.

    Good luck

I don't send traffic traffic to opt in pages anymore. I Do This instead...

Email website owners in your industry offering to give them a "free" article for their website or blog, newsletter, etc. If you have already posted the article on your own site and it has been indexed, submit it to Ezine Articles so that webmasters in your industry can pick up the article (leaving your author bio and link to your website intact, of course). You may also want to consider posting it to Examiner.com.
