Rejected by fiverr providers 3 times

This is both funny and disappointing. I really wanted to have a video review of this certain product about "genital warts removal" because my article review is doing great and I thought a video review will be more effective. The problem is, I can't find someone who want to make a video review about this product.. I contacted 2 of them prior to buying gigs but once they saw my script, they rejected my order.

Do you think this is just too embarrassing to have your self seen in youtube claiming to suffer from genital warts?

Any other alternative?

Haha, well that's certainly an interesting problem to have.

I would say your best bet would be to have the script be more vague and indirect and then only add the specifics in post. So instead of having them talk about how "you helped solve my genital warts" you could reference "solving my problem down there" or perhaps just 'warts' and then in marketing tag on the genital part.

lol! Yes, bad enough people are saying crazy random things for $5 but this is asking a bit much. You can direct message them and ask if you buy the gig X amount of times or gig extras can they do it. Sweeten the pot.

I just spent sometime on fiverr looking for video samples of other providers. I just found 2 guys who did reviews for hemorrhoids and herpes but they did never mentioned anything about the illness. I think it's better to have them create a script instead. It looks like there is a better way in doing this instead of directly saying that you suffer from such disease.. lol. Other fiverr providers are so creative in making scripts.

Thats a good one. I guess they are willing to fake a review for anything else but don't want to embarrass themselves with a fake review like that. lol

I guess everyone knows this already. It depends on how a reviewer deliver a review though, or depends on the script. There are ways on how to review a product without over exaggerating it like explaining the benefits and features.

Finding some one is not easy. Like we do agree. There is a story about a group of mice looking for a brave mouse. They had a plan to prevent that evil cat from capturing any one of em. OK so the plan was for one very courageous mouse... do those exist - any way... to put a bell on the cat to serve as a warning. Problem is the mice could not find even one courageous mouse.

I'm not either an advocate of false testimonials.

Better idea would be for one of them to do a voice over of some kind, reading the script you provide, or reading someone else's testimonial (hopefully a real one that you have).

Yeah, I don't think I want all of the consequences of saying I had genital warts for $5. Or $5,000. If they're in the western world, any medical provider/insurance gestapo/etc. could find that and deny them care, etc. Women could sue them if they got genital warts from someone else. Perhaps that's a bit far-fetched, but I'd be worried.

Maybe you could find someone on oDesk in a country where a little sweeter pot would open things up. $10 in Cambodia, for instance, is half a week's salary for many (maybe not a hot to trot IMer, but still). But if you're marketing in the US, wouldn't using a video from someone who really didn't solve the problem cause issues?

What about doing it the way the advertisers on tv do? Add a disclaimer saying actors used to protect identity/privacy and/or blur the face. I don't know how that would stand up with FTC regulations etc. but thought I'd add it to the mix.

Why don't you go contract herpes yourself, then use the product to cure yourself.

That would be the ultimate case study/testimonial.

Could the person doing the review wear a mask? That's probably the only way you'll get takers.

LOL - yeah do that effect like they do on 60 Minutes where their face is blacked out and their voice is altered so you don't know who it is hahaha

I still like my suggestion above about him going and getting herpes himself and using the product to cure it.

    Adie,

You should also consider hiring some on on oDesk or Elance having experience. You will defiantly find some one very inexpensive and reliable.
